you should of been there the day he banned me and posted some crap on someone's 'getluv has been banned threads'.

He wrote a poem about me leaving, but instead he put GATSU's name instead. Someone corrected him and he was like 'haha' about it. I felt like saying, go fuck yourself you miserable wanker. But I had grown tired of the place anyway, the forums are a joke, at least KJ is going places.

I havn't been at those forums in ages. The posting quality there is rock-bottom though, so maybe it was for the best, eh? hehe

they should just close the BOM forums now. They really have hit new lows.

It's not only the admins over there (or lack of) but the fact that almost no poster over there has any sense of humor makes me sick. I'm definitely not the 'funny guy' here or on any other forum, but I can take a joke and laugh about it now and then without reporting something to mods right away. I just thought it pretty lame that some users over there couldn't just laugh and take it for what it was: an April Fool's Joke...If they didn't like it, then they could ignore it; it wasn't harming them or ruining the forum. The mods also are too distant from the community over there; I like it here because you can talk to a mod/admin just about any time of the day and get a response right away; they're here all the time so they're just like another poster and they're able to see everything that's going on, and can get a feel for each poster's personality so that when a situation does arise they know whether or not to take it seriously.

The forums as a whole reflect very negatively on BOM as a buisness. It's a drain rather than an avenue for expansion.

The only reason they are still open is the extra money they make from forum users.

just about any forum out there would ban you for that so not something you can really pick BOM for ...

here? Things are different. we started off as a community. unless you directly harm the site, the forum or something, it won't happen. and we can take a good joke. but that in no way is a reflection of how other forums operate nor do they have any reason to operate the way we do.

I got banned for linking to my reviews of movies ... which were hosted on this website.

This website was never anything like what it is now, it used to be a very simple HTML website, very unprofesh, and was really just a place to put my own reviews.

It was never a problem until everyone came to my forum. I didn't even know people were coming, then woke up and everyone was here, and I was banned.

I blame Arsi.

My objective at the beginning of the fiasco was to see how far I'd have to go to get banned, and truthfully I don't think I went very far...Would the other forums out there ban me permantly like BOM has? I don't have a very good knowledge of how other forums run besides this one and BOM so my opinion on what constitutes a banning, etc. is usually irrelevant. I just think I should have been contacted before the immediate banning, even if it was just NOTIFYING me I was going to be banned.
