Next summer, I'll live in a movie theatre.

Seriously.

I don't think so. I think a vast majority of the internet population enjoys the BOURNE franchise, but it is really lacklustre stuff.

Perfect for WTC and Zodiac - but Flags should move. Id rather see it in November or December.

Yeah, Flags would seem like the perfect December movie to me.

Maybe they're setting up for a Red Sun, Black Sand Oscar push instead? Possibly Eastwood is looking at both, and realizing the Paul Walker-Ryan Phillipe fest just isn't up to par. I actually doubt that though, Flag will probably move.

As for the Sander/James comedy, wow. How many can they possibly fit?

Eastwood's Unforgiven was released in August 1992 and won Best Picture.

July is packed wall to wall at this point with Fantastic Four II, Harry Potter And The Order Of The Pheonix, 10,000 B.C., Transformers and now Simpsons: The Movie...somethings gonna have to move IMO. Probably Transformers, to the last weekend of June slot.

2007 is actually a lock for the biggest box-office year ever (unadjusted).

I mean....just look at those films!!!

Too bad Spielberg probably won't have Indy IV ready by then. That'd be exactly what 2007 still needs. Or Jurassic Park 4.

That already has Rataoullie and Evan Almighty.

I think Transformers will either move to July 6th(friday after July 4th so it still gets some holiday boost) or actually move all the way to summer 2008 because the only other slots in summer are 2nd week of May(though I doubt any potential blockbuister wants to be sandwiched by SM3, POTC3, and Shrek 3) or sometime in August. Dreamworks wants to make this into a big film, and I wouldn't be surprised if they delayed all the way to 2008, which is a lot more open than 2007 is.

Do you think Transformers could top SM3's second weekend on May 11th? If so, that's an open weekend. But it will be bombarded by competition.

Transformers can force FF2 to move. That's the one that will need a new date. Evan Almighty should move as well. However, what's scary is that movies like Halo and Rush Hour 3 still need to find a spot.

I see HALO moving to April or September. It just sounds crappy, even if PJ is attached.

Here's what I guess will happen:

May-04 Spiderman 3
May-11 (2 20m openers)
May-18 Pirates of the Carribean 3
May-25 (A couple smaller openers again)
Jun-01 Evan Almighty
Jun-08 Oceans 13, Surf's Up
Jun-15 Used Guys
Jun-22 Halo, The Brave One, Stardust
Jun-29 Shrek the Third
Jul-04 Transformers
Jul-13 Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix
Jul-20 I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry
Jul-27 Ratatoullie, Fantastic Four 2
Aug-03 The Bourne Ultimatum, Underdog
Aug-10 10,000 BC, Rush Hour 3
Aug-17 Simpsons: The Movie
Aug-24 Nancy Drew
Aug-31

1. After POTC2 has +300m in 10 days, Shrek 3 moves to June 29th.
2. POTC3 takes Shrek 3's old date.
3. Ratatoullie meanwhile has to move to July 27th.
4. Evan Almightly goes to June 1.
5. The Simpsons Movie gets away from Ratatoullie and goes to August.
6. Nancy Drew moves a week.
7. After a Transformers trailer debuts, FF2 goes to July 27th.
8. Rush Hour 3 takes August 10th.
9. The Simpsons Movie moves another week.
10. Nancy Drew again moves a week.
11. 10,000 BC tries to keep it's date for a while, but eventually has to go to August.

Is Shrek 3 seriously called Shrek the Third, or is it just a common joke-name everyone is using?

That's an ironic date. I wonder if they did it on purpose.
