Holy shit! That is not a slight case of ballot stuffing, that is a freakin' major case. One Tree Hill is like George Bush more than 5 years ago and the One Tree Hill fans are like Florida. Obviously this poll can't be taken seriously. I'm sure Shack has voted a million times himself ;).

LOL I actually got a bulletin from MySpace urging everyone to petition/vote for One Tree Hill.

Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars on Tuesday nights would be the best night of TV period! They should totally do this.

I also think Smallville and Supernatural would be a good pairing.

And I think they should take the B from WB and N from UPN and call it BN, which would stand for Best Network .

OTH is an underdog right now yes. But dammit, there's still 5 months left in the life-support! I think this poll is only a sign of things to come regarding the noise level Mark Schwann has promised to bring. They've pissed off the internet now. :guns:

And by the way, of course Michael Ausiello and Les Moonves are going to predict favourably towards VM's cause. When you're a tv critic/analyst, when one show is one of the most critically acclaimed on tv, and the other is one of the most trashed, there's no doubt which way they will lean. The most important announcement will be when the CW confirms it.

My mom and dad still watch One Tree Hill because even though the show sucks now they don't have that great of taste and like to watch Lifetime ;). Still, they like Veronica Mars more, as well as Gilmore Girls. I told them about the merger next fall and that One Tree Hill likely won't be back next fall . It will be nice to see the dumb teen shows get weeded out.

Bump

3 of the castmembers(Chad MM, Hilarie Burton, Tyler Hilton) will be premiering the new OTH soundtrack music video while pumping the album and show on TRL tomorrow night. The "Please don't cancel us" campaign is in full swing now.

Not sure what the situation is now (of if there are even any fans of the show on the site), but I heard about an early draft of the CW's fall schedule floating around and Everwood not being on it.

If anyone cares.

Haven't heard anything about other shows yet.

Bump once again

The WB is starting to smarten up with their advertising. They've always had a history of their commercials being so silly and teen-oriented, with the overacting narration and "YAY SOAP-TIME" general flow. If anybody has ever seen the channel, you know what I mean.

But they just released an OTH one thats...smart. I'll admit up until now, they've been marketing it as pure-blood WB. The teen drama soap, like they do with every show. It had WB written all over it. But this one hits a completley different harp. It doesn't have the WB stamp on it, it doesn't look like something from this station at all. It uses seriousness and intensity, with freeze-frames and flashes of the most important moments. It's like the ads for Grey's Anatomy and Lost. It's exactly what tv marketing should be going for.

My only complaint is that it's too short. If it was 1 minute instead of 30 seconds, I'd say it's better than a lot of movie trailers this year.

I think they might be gearing up for changing The CW into a more serious and more adult-oriented station. Even if it's not quite there yet, I think it's a worthwhile step. If they want to compete with the Big 4, this will be how.

That should easily be the best episode of the season. It actually looks decent, a welcome change from the episodes this year :P

Aaaannnndddddd... Charmed is apparentley axed.

One less show to compete with my beloved Tree Hill.

Speaking of which, just read some details on the ratings Wednesday night. Not only was this a season high audience-wise(against Idol!), it was also 2nd place for the 8 P.M. hour in females 12-24 and every Teen demographic, behind the monster AI of course.

"Charmed" has been on too long anyway. I remember watching that for the first two seasons when I was in elementary school. I always forget that it's still going after eight years.

And Shack, it's also one less show that Veronica Mars has to compete with as well. ;)

 Seriously... worst person to quote.

Anyway, why won't Supernatural get renewed? It's not doing horribly.

Supernatural has a good chance at surviving I would say, sadly. It was one of the shows specifically mentioned when the decision was first made, and the ratings are fine.(thanks to the GG lead-in)

Seriously all I care about are GG and VM in this merger. And I pray Reba gets her vagina kicked off tv.
