I would say Best Actor, I think he was as much of a lead as Wilson was.

Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang: original screenplay or adapted? I'd say original.
Here is how I would categorize the screenplays:
Original
The 40-Year-Old Virgin Broken Flowers Cache Cinderella Man Crash Elizabethtown The Family Stone Good Night, and Good Luck. Happy Endings Junebug Match Point Me and You and Everyone We Know Melinda & Melinda Millions Mrs. Henderson Presents The New World Nine Lives The Squid and the Whale The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada Transamerica The Upside of Anger Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit The War Within
Adapted:
Batman Begins Brokeback Mountain Capote The Chronicles of Narnia The Constant Gardener Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire A History of Violence In Her Shoes Jarhead King Kong Memoirs of a Geisha Munich Mysterious Skin North Country The Producers Proof Rent Shopgirl Sin City Syriana Walk the Line War of the Worlds
Feel free to add more.

Just thought I'd mention that you are allowed to nominate an actor or actress in either supporting or lead roles according to the Academy rules. That's one of the reason's why studios spend a lot of money on their FYC ads, so they can push the actor in the proper field.

Haha, I just realized that. Spent a lot of unnecessary time writing that post then. Didn't know that we discussed combining the two categories.

The categories are set in the first post.
5 noms for Visual Effects. Since nothing is stated otherwise, I think we're going 5 noms for all categories.

Question...
Colin Farrell and Q'Orianka Kilcher, THE NEW WORLD.
Best Actor and Actress? Or Best Supporting Actor and Supporting Actress?

Another question...
Can LORDS OF DOGTOWN and WAR OF THE WORLDS be considered remakes?
