I wanna see Jack have an epic sword fight with Rupert. There's gotta be swords somewhere in the hatch.

Good Episode?
Anyone seeing the Moses/Aaron connection...In the preview it had the baby (named AARON), floating in the ocean, connection to moses in river, also we saw a burning bush..and in episode 23 psalm, there was much reference to the name aaron.

Best episode of the recent bunch, I'd say.
Bearded man w/ flame powers interested me. Even though I thought the scene with him and Kate was kind of ridiculous. What were they gonna do, not drop their weapons?

Flame powers? all he did was tell the others to light their torches so Jack would know that they were surrounded.
So, how many episodes do you think will go by until we hear from Michael again?

I wasn't crazy about this episode, and they should stop putting the lead characters' lives in danger when it's blatantly obvious that nothing is going to happen to them. There was also something hurried and irrational about the characters this episode, it just seemed sloppy to me for some reason.
So is the rest of the season going to be a "build an army" thing similiar to the never-ending raftbuilding we got in the latter half of season 1? Wake me when the season finale comes if that's the case. and ugh not another episode about Charlie & his demons, we just had a Charlie-centric episode! The drama with Claire's baby looks interesting though.

Missed the episode. Stuck cramping down the homework due tomorrow.
Have it on VCR taped though.
Anyways, I find it funny that this episode has only mustered less a single page. Usually we get like 10. I guess that shows the interest in another Jack episode. Where's the rest of the crew tonight?

Best episode of the season so far. That was a normal lost episode on par with the ones from the first season. It left me looking forward to Mr. Eko hitting "Zeke" with his Jesus Stick some day in the future. Also, I thought Jack handled Kate and Sawyer exactly right.

wow
That was very good. I think one can argue that as an episode the Eko one was better because tonight's wasn't a good threaded episode in and of itself and I agree with one poster above, it had some hints of sloppiness, but it was a GRAND episode in that we saw alot of things.
We see the black smoke up close AND we hear the others talk to Jack in the last two episodes. These are ENORMOUS revelations and yet, I fail to see the excitement and hype. HELLOO????
We definitely saw the latest direction we will venture in and yes, Ana-Lucia will finally come in use.
One thing I really liked in this episode was how there was rising tension again. That's what was so great about Season 1. NEw people, strangers, trust, suspicions. By mid-season this year it seemed everyoen was lovey-dovey. When thinking about it, it kind of strikes reality: first no one knows anyone but they have lived together for 50 days andare sort of a big family now. However, Mathew Fox had spilled in a recent interview that we are gonna get deeper into selfishness, suspicions, and similar character tensions, which also makes sense.
IT's getting quite interesting, very fascinating. I just don't understand where the hype went all of a sudden!

I don't understand where the other 35 or so people are. How come they are not allowed to sit around on lounge chairs and listen to records too?

I don't think she is but she does seem most likely to be one if someone is, just from her general looks. All the Others look like they came from New England heh.
Is there something else about her you notice that is Othersish?

Oh also did any notice Zeke asked "Alex" to bring Kate over to him.
Alex being the french womans kid ...
As for Libby ..
Maybe she isn't an other ... maybe she was a psyciatrist in Hurley's mental hospital.

I am also wondering the connection between Jack and his healing the paralyzed ... or almost ... and Locke.

Not a great episode overall. The only bits that really flowed well were the interactions with the Korean couple, aswell as a few scenes between Jack and Locke. Jacks flashbacks were boring but convincing, if that makes sense. The "other" guy bit was quite unexpected obviously but the scene seemed far too forced, the bloody guy was hardly menacing, "I come in peace"???????? That bit didn't come off very well imo, maybe they should've waited a bit longer to show him or even give more cyptic type shit like the computer/walt and Michael before anything like this. That scene with Sayid had me laughing though I have to admit. However that ending was very crap. More Eko-related episodes please.

And for anyone who downloads the show, this place is very good for quick downloads. It takes about 15 mins per episode, although the quality isn't that great.

M.C. Gainey was much funnier as the old guy from "Club Dread". And less Grizzly Adams.
Fairly decent episode overall.

Um, ew.
Just realized that Killer Santa Claus from Lost is the same actor who went full-frontal in that one part of Sideways when he's having sex with his tubby wife and Miles has to get Jack's wallet.
Gross.

I'm not as aware of the backstory spoilers of the newbies, but anyone else think that Lizzy's career is "retired porn star?" I got that feeling from the preview for next week's episode.
