Because Downfall (even though it is 30 minutes too long) is the one film that I consider to be great, important and a true artistic statement of 2005 (even though it was really released in 2004 SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH).

There needs to be a thread for the top 10 films of the year that aggrivated me. Not the worst films of the year... maybe some good ones that missed the mark... maybe horrible abortions like D.E.B.S. Definately Crash, Corpse Bride... HMMMMM.

I mean how come that we share the same Top 2. That's against the laws of physics. Or any other laws. And I also have WotW and AHOV in my current Top 10 as well... 
I agree about Downfall, though, I just can't help the fact that King Kong entertained me way too greatly to push it from #1.
