Enough with the pointless flashbacks.
I fully expect the flashback to go into detail about how Bernard was blind when he met Rose, and he miraculously got back his sight and found out Rose was black.
Bernard: WHAAAAAAA?!
It'll be a heartwarming flashback telling us that it's more important what's on the inside rather than the outside.

One thing I hope is that they don't just add a bunch of new characters (whereever they may come from) in the third season.

I think their flashback won't just be about how they met though.
Maybe it might, but their overall story definitely has something to it; Rose knowing he was alive was not just optimism... something is wrong with those two in that they seem lke the only "innocent" ones.

Their flashback will include things like them living on a 815 Sixteenth Street with Rose having a hobby of recycling boxes from the company Locke works at and Bernard being a home insurance exec that sold Kate the insurance on her Mom's house and then the Lost producers will accuse the fans of reading too much into it.

KITV quoted court and police documents that said Rodriguez was "very argumentative" and kept interrupting the officer who was explaining drunk driving sanctions to her.
"I don't (expletive) belong here! Why don't you just put a gun to my head and shoot me! You've already taken my freedom! You might as well take my life too!" she said, KITV reported Friday.
The officer who took Rodriguez in a police car to the Kailua substation quoted her as saying "Just take my car and I'll walk all the way to the North Shore but don't leave me in the back of this car poppie."

'Lost' cast named entertainer of the year
Thursday December 22 3:46 PM ET
The cast of "Lost," ABC's hit drama of air crash survivors marooned on a mysterious island, have won one battle -- they beat a 40-year-old virgin and King Kong's girlfriend for the title of 'Entertainer of the Year."
Entertainment Weekly named what it called a group of "treasured islanders," the cast of "Lost," as its Entertainer of the Year, calling the show one of the "biggest cult breakouts since The X-Files."

This whole "month without Lost in mid-season" is kind of ass.

YA... last year we had like 2 more weeks of eps in December I think than we did this year. And also last year it started one week earlier, January with S4 premiere of Alias, and this year it's on the 11th!!

Apparently this is one in multiple traffic or riving violation for Rodriguez.
She's really tarnishing the show and she'll do worse if she gets arrested and they have to, even if temporary, take her out fo the show. They obviously have some stuff planned for her and it might just spoil it all.
Now, there's a reason to hate her!

So, did the police do anything wrong whatsoever, or was Rodriguez attempting to throw her Hollywood weight around, and act better than the law?

I need my Lost fix.
Now that most of my friends have caught up with the 2nd season, all of us are waiting very anxiously for the next episode.

I'm thinking that maybe ABC is making sure that certain episodes air opposite the Olympics in February to garner good ratings. Perhaps there's an important episode or two that they can market as a BIG episode to compete.

I'm about half way through the S1 DVDs, so I have that for company.
Just watched Solitary, and Raised By Another. I guess I forgot before how much of a solid episode Solitary is. I don't like Sayid that much, but this was a great one. Raised By Another is of course one of the best as well, no surprise there.

So I was watching "Solitary" from my Xmas present.
There's something we've missed.
As Danielle is talking she says something like, "We built a shelter, everything was fine until after 2 months, they came and they are the carriers".
Sayid then breaks her off so she can talk about the others.
They've been on the island for 50 days. I figure in 10 island days (end of the season?) this sickness is going to come back hard.
Maybe Walt is the carrier.

Hmmm..that sounds interesting. I don't remember that either.
By the way, who of you spotted Sayid in Kate's flashback?

I just read a small spoiler on some random site.
It said:
[spoil]Mr. Eko questions Charlie about the Virgin Mary Statue[/spoil]
Mr. Eko is Nigernian and religious (it seems). There is obviously a connection between him and the Nigerian Drug Plane... with the two men dressed as priests.

Psalm 23 is more famouser than most psalms. Note the "23".
Quote: 1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, [a] I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
