No midnight showings here in St.Louis and no really reason for them to have a midnight showing of this.. They'll just wait til opening day when they can show it 4 times daily with the 3 hour running time it has..

AMC here isn't even selling advanced tickets for KK yet. And at the Regal, they've got a midnight for Narnia, but none for KK.

Yeah guys, I think it's a bit early to start this thread, but whatever. There's advanced sales thusfar for the Regal Lloyd Center 18 Cinemas, Regal Tigard 11 Cinemas, Century 16 Cedar Hills Crossing, Century 16 Eastport, and Regal Cinemas Bridgeport 18. I'd expect the Regal Pioneer Place Stadium 6 to start having tickets along with a number of other theaters on Friday.

King Kong doesnt seem to be a movie that will generate midnight sellouts. Like Moviedude said, its way too early to start this thread and may backfire like the Batman Begins sellout thread

So far the only ones in town that are having a midnight showing are the Muvico Parisian 20 and the Regal Royal Palm Beach 18.

There's a midnight showing at the theater I usually go to. I beleive the guy said it will be playing in 5 screens in the theater for its run.

BKB claimed it will be run 4 times daily due to it's 3 hour length. Unfortunately BKB isn't clever enough to know it will be playing in multiple screens per theater.

5 screens each showing 4 shows = 20 shows.

Someone at HSX reported that their 14-screen theater is getting Kong on five of 'em.

Wow.

With the amount of sell outs for King Kong that I'm seeing, Narnia is bound to fall at least 93%.

Change the title to a Crowd Report thread.

Also.

King Kong will be on 6 screens (18 showtimes).
Finding Home opens on 1 screen on Wednesday too.

Wow... just wow. For the first time I can ever remember, the Lloyd Center is going to have King Kong in both it's outside theater and the inside one. Two screens on the inside, at least three on the outside (they haven't listed what else is playing so it could be four). Either way, that's just... wow.

King Kong is really packing in the prints.

In the LA area

The Universal City Walk theater (18-plex), Universal's signature theater, it booking it on 7 screens!!!!
The Grove and the Archlight have it on 4 screens each.
The Century City theaer (15 plex) has it on 3 screens.
The Bridge Cinema Deluxe has it on 5 screens.

Even smaller theaters like Downtown Disney is booking it on 3 screens. This could very well be in the top ten of all time in terms of print counts.

The record is around 10,000, set by Sith, correct?
