So... about those Tuesday and Wednesday numbers.
Where are they?! Tuesday ratings have been delayed since yesterday, and now Mediaweek is reporting the Wednesday numbers are delayed. What the heck is going on?

Heh, maybe. But, they're nowhere to be found for Tuesday, and it's looking to be the same for Wednesday now. Did My Name is Earl shoot up to 40 million viewers or something?!! What the heck is the deal?

Maybe with House back, the 9PM timeslot became so overcrowded with viewers the meters exploded?

Well, Mediaweek usually doesn't go up this early, so the numbers might still become available in an hour or so at Zap2it or The Futon Critic. I hope.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking... but I thought the same thing yesterday. I hope the Tuesday numbers get posted at some point.

Well, according to Futon, there weren't any ratings for Tuesday due to Election coverage. Weird.

There were some elections going in the country. I guess enough to disrupt everything. Ugh.

I'm always amazed at how inefficient the reporting of numbers is in Hollywood given how it's a hundreds of billions of dollars business.

Tuesday numbers are up on Zap2it, but I hate that they don't post ALL the numbers (like they show the average between Jim and Rodney, instead of posting both numbers). This is why Mediaweek is the best when it comes to ratings.

There no inefficiency. Its just we are being done a "favour" by the industry to see this data. The information always hits the places it needs to when it needs to. Public release is an afterthought.

That would make sense except these days the public isn't just univolved bystanders, they are often shareholders in entertainment companies and have an interest in these things.
