Have I mentioned my adoration for Kristen Bell? She seriously needs an Emmy nomination next season. At least, I think she might be able to get a Golden Globe nomination. They're usually pretty good for nominating shows and actors/actresses that the Emmys wouldn't nominate (Jessica Alba for Dark Angel; Lauren Graham for Gilmore Girls).

Even up against LOST the premiere of VERONICA MARS: Season 2 was able to pull in some of its best ratings yet for UPN (thankfully): http://tv.zap2it.com/tveditorial/tve_main/1,1002,272%7c97769%7c1%7c,00.html

At first it took a bit for me to truly get into the season premiere, as it usually does if the new season of a show doesn't take place directly after the events of the previous season. This one starts in the present but has flashbacks to show the viewers what has happened between the season 1 finale and the season 2 premiere, and by doing this it ends up giving us a few surprises. As the episode went along I got more and more into it and the shocking ending had me loving it. So thumbs up from me!

A damn good season premiere. Sucks that I had to wait so long to see it, stupid torrent wasn't up until about 3 last night. I hate that UPN put it against Lost, makes it so I can't watch.

Don't like that Veronica and Duncan are back together. But the triangle with Logan has potential. Loved the ending. It was cruel, but Meg had no future on the show. And they obviously couldnt have a character called Dumass on every week.

but to me the meg thing came as a shock.
and i would have like some reconcilliation before it.
i think someone was obviously trying to kill veronica.
yet she missed the bus on the way back.

hmmm shifty.

I liked Meg though and I was surprised she was killed. I didn't see the thing with the bus happening at all. It was a shock. But I like shocks .

Anyway, yes, I do think Veronica was supposed to be killed or something but thankfully she missed the bus. I think the new girl, who was the daughter of Guttenberg's character, was on the bus wasn't she? Unless she got invited with them to ride in the limo.

Very shocking. Unfortunately, when I read an interview with the series creator, he said something big would happen, and you'd know it when you saw it. Once the bus pulled away, I knew immediately that the bus was history. Meg was the most significant person on the bus, and since she wasn't added to the main cast, I knew that spelled death. Still, VERY shocking. Maybe Meg will be the new Lilly this year? Who knows? I'm definitely hooked again.

I liked how the premiere settled the finale. It wasn't immediate, which I liked, and the show proved once again how it can be gripping right till the end. I do hate Duncan very much. His flashback scenes showed him as a boring boyfriend in Season 1, and the present day scenes in Season 1 depicted him as just plain... plain! Never got into him, never rooted for him to get back together with Veronica. I actually would have preferred Wallace, or even Weevil, over Duncan. But, my first choice was Logan, and still is. Even if he is doing it with Cordelia from Buffy (Oh that Charisma Carpenter!).

So, the two obvious leads are Logan and the "Toadies", and Steve Guttenberg's daughter, in my eyes. Logan seems too obvious for me, since they pratically shouted at us about him and his new friends being troublemakers throughout the episode. But, why was Guttenberg's daughter NOT on the bus? Was that explained? Again, maybe it's too obvious. New character, easy to make her the bad guy (or girl, as it were). And maybe Duncan had something to do with it? I know, he has no real reason for wanting Veronica or Meg or anyone on that bus dead, but... it's Veronica Mars, after all. Could be anyone, I suppose. Except Aaron Echolls. That would be just unoriginal as hell. ;)

She'll probably be around for as long as he is. I'm still not ruling out that she's evil.

Damnit, won't be able to watch or tape tonight. I guess I'll just have to download it tomorrow. Anyone know any good sites to get Veronica Mars episodes?

http://www.bitmetv.org is a TV site, but you have to register. I'm not sure if there are spots left, but it's the best site I know of. Most torrents work, and ones that don't will get "nuked" (meaning they're is something wrong with it, such as low volume, crappy picture, etc etc.).

I'm actually kind of disappointed with this season so far. It's good but not as great as the first. Both endings have been cool though, and next week's looks really good.

i agree the case isn't nearly as compelling as the first.
but i love this season none the less.
the endings always get me.
always, always.

oh man, i obess over this show way to much.
and i forced like ten new people to watch it last night.
[maybe it will have a ratings impact. hahahahaha]

I don't know what it is because the case has the potential to be just as, if not more engaging, than the one in the first season, but for some reason it's just not as interesting. I love the show but I'm kind of disappointed, it's just weaker overall this season, in my opinion. And I'm not a Duncan fan either and could definitely go without them being together. I'd rather have her seeing nobody than him. I loved the deputy guy in season 1 and wish they were together now instead.

the deputy was a cool guy i must admit.

wtf at the amount of sex in that episode too?
and I THOUGHT veronica needed to be connected to the bus.
she was supposed to die.

and something tells me it has to do with the kane family again.
because duncan's mom still doesn't like veronica as far as i know.

um wtf. Was that the bus driver? Or the reporter?

Still don't like Duncan. Why tease us with Megs death? And Logan/Stepmom is way too DH. Those are my only complaints. Loved Wallace as a detective.

And do hook me up with that media thing.
