Martha didn't do bad, but that'll probably drop quickly. Wow for Lost.

Actually, that's not good at all for Martha Stewart.

I didn't think it was horrible, but you would know better than I would.

NBC can't get any respect.

I wonder how CSI: NY will perform opposite Invasion (which I expect to drop), and Law and Order (which doesn't seem as strong as recent years in the ratings).

That's pretty awful for Martha. I don't expect another season of her. The main problem is that there is too much Apprentice. Nobody wants to see practically the same show, just on a different night. It's a pretty ridiculous move on NBC's part. They should have given Martha this season, then in January, have Trump do his season. I think the ratings would have been much better.

I'm thinking it might beat out both.

AMAZING ratings for Lost. 23.5 million viewers (a record for the show). Wowzers.

Now I know why I thought Martha didn't do bad. I misread the numbers and was looking at the 10 instead of the 6.7. I guess I was really excited to be back at the forums. :hahaha:

But Martha's show isn't just another Apprentice clone. She is entirely casual and seemingly real, and not the rehearsed drone like Trump is. Her show is, in many respects, much different. I would much rather see Martha's show do well, and Trumps slump in the ratings for once. His show is getting extremely repetitive and almost really lame because of the huge, overdramatic serious tone.

PEACE, Mike.

Wow; im able to access KJ but only through a wierd servername channel.

Meh

I have been doing ratings lowdowns in KJs absence; 'Abc Kickstarts after lacklustre season to date'

Basically Lost was way up on last year - but Invasion actually performed less than "Alias" did after Lost.

P.S Say goodbye to Headcases - with a 50% dive in its second week its unlikely to stick around.

Wow at Lost, not so good for Martha(I agree they should've done her now, Trump later, or vice-versa). Invasion did alright but it was tagged with Lost, remember how Alias got 16 mil last year then dropped like a stone? Same deal I'm betting here.

And in WBland a Just Legal new episode pretty much got beat by the One Tree Hill rerun. Burn.

No, the Just Legal episode from Wednesday was a repeat of the pilot.

Actually; Alias held reasonably well until "American Idol" hit on the scene; the response to the first episode of season 4 alias was definately more positive critically and audience wise than "Invasion". Oh and Alias' first episode apparently had between 17-17.5 Million viewers after a lower rated Lost last year; its second episode was with 14.5m due to the 10pm competish so the average was 16 Million for the two hours. So it's not the best start. But Invasion this year dosen't have American Idol to head clash with because Lost has that honour :P

Horrible ratings for Martha. I expected much more. The same could be said for the now canned "Head Cases." "Just Legal" got poor ratings but it was a rerun. I watched the show and it wasn't half bad.

"Invasion" obviously benefitted from its lead-in. I wonder how it'll hold up next week?

Considering its lackluster lead-in, "E-Ring" didn't do too bad despite the fact that the show is dullsville.

Oh my God!!!!!

I finally got through (thank you Spider-Man!!!!!!)

I could not access the site for like 4 days!!!! I thought it was taken down.
How evil. I am soooooo incredibly pissed off because the one night I needed the site (Lost premiere) it wasbn't working or I didn't knwo how to access it! I was overwhelmed with emotion and shock like I ahve never been.

Anyway...

Those are sweet, AMAZING numbers for Lost.

8pm: Lost Review Episode ~ 14.6 million viewers
9pm: Lost Season 2 Premiere: ~ 23.5 million viewers
10pm: Invasion Premiere ~ 16.9 million viewers

That is just stunning for ABC. As for keeping those ratings....

I think Invasion will fall below 15 million next week, but would consider it a big success if it maintains 12-13+ million viewers throughout the season.
Lost should hold on to more than 20 million viewers now, maybe dipping to 18-19 million occasionally, except that CBS didn't have its big gun out yet.

This is what CBS did. They played the premiere of Criminal Minds Thursday after CSI so it could rake in a big audience which will hopefully follow it to Wednesdays at 9pm. They didn't put it up against Lost at first so they can get as many viewers as they can. It worked like a charm; it premiered to 19.8 million viewers.

I expect that high debut to fall below 14-15 million against LOST; other analysist think it will fall 50% (I can only hope)
I don't think Lost to truly suffer or fall below the 19+ million range only on account of Criminal Minds... but I am expecting it to be well above last season's average (which was around 17-18 million viewers). We'll just have to wait and see for week 2!

LOL. I forgot about that!
I expect it beat Lost but also possibly not reach or surpass its ratings from last season!

I thought Martha was pretty crappy. I think Donald Trump is annoying beyond words, but at least he has a certain presence.

If one of them failed, though, I'd much rather see Trump's go first.
