I love seeing Howie playing with the lightsabre. Gives me hope that when I'm 33, I will be as lighthearted and fun as he is.
I only read a recap of the show (generously updated over at BB Chatter, as I will watch the episode tomorrow), and it sounds like Ivette is considering it most during her Diary Room talks. That's only obvious. I can't imagine her considering it with April and Maggie. I know BB loves to air things that go against what WILL happen, but they have no control over this week's vote, or Ivette's tie-breaker vote, so it's going to be a nail-biter, down to the final minute. If it's a tie (I only assume Janelle wouldn't assume Howie's days are done, and vote him out), then all eyes are going to be fixated on Ivette. The speech and outcome better be good. If it is, I'll take back my mean things about her.

Yeah I agree with Mike, tonight's ep was full of great one-liners:
"I don't want to slander anyone on TV, but her girlfriend is ugly as hell." You just did hone Oh Janelle, America has fallen in love with your classless ways!
"I recognized Michael's mouth because I've seen it a lot [or something along those lines]." Ew
"Why didn't someone tell me I look like a skater boy?" Oh April, that would just take the fun away wouldn't it?
And yeah, Howie's diss on Ivette was ok I guess.
Anyway, America's femme fetal is now in the final four. Personaly, if someone had told me a few weeks ago that J-Ho and Spazette would be here, I would flipped the fuck out!

Haha, great one-liners Cotton. I agree with you who agrees with me. lol.
And I would agree with that last statement. In the first few weeks, I had thought for sure Janelle would be gone. She was one of the first few targets to put up, and I thought for sure she would easily be gone soon. I also had decided at the beginning that I would hate her, based on her photo. But I ended up loving Janelle. I also had decided right away that I would love Eric, but that ended up going way down hill after Eric turned out to be a psycho maniac who cannot control his anger. I feel for his wife and kids who have to endure that. My goodness.
PEACE, Mike.

The highlight of that episode was the intense lightsabre battle between Darth Howie and Jedi Janie. I think it put anything in the recent installment of that popular series to shame . Good to see Ivette denied her life's goal of evicting Janelle (at least for now). I don't suspect Ivette will accept any deal and Howie will unfortunately leave on Thursday. And the pessimist in me sees Maggie winning the HOH, now that it is finally important for her to win it.

I know, I have this gut feeling Maggie will win. But I'm not so sure that would be really bad. Janelle will be the only outcast left. Unless Maggie has changed her mind about wanting to go to the end with an outcast, in order to secure her win, she might not put up Janelle, or more likely, she'll put up Janelle, but she'll put up Ivette with her, and then ask April to vote out Ivette, to have a Maggie/April/Janelle final three. April would agree, as she feels she is partnered with Maggie, and April has always never really liked Ivette that much. And then even after all that, Janelle could still win the veto again if Maggie is after her. With James gone, isn't Janelle 2nd in terms of getting vetos? I could be wrong. Either way, Janelle has always been strong with the competitions.
Anyways, I would definately want Janelle to win HOH, but if she can't, Maggie is the one I would want to win.
PEACE, Mike.

I just wish Howie and Janelle would work on Maggie, not Ivette. My impression could be wrong, but in my opinion, Maggie is much more likely to sway and vote for April than Ivette is. But I dunno.

Yeah, if she's playing to win then that would be a good move on her part. But you know, some bonds are so strong and deeply felt, that they cannot ever be broken .

I wouldn't exactly rule out Ivette taking out April just yet. Yesterday, she was trying to guilt trip April by saying how she REALLY needs the 500K and that it would do wonders for her family, etc., etc. but April just snapped and was like all need the money and we all deserve it, even Janelle. And Ivette tries to guilt trip Maggie, too, and try nad hint at her to take her to the final two by telling her how April doesn't need it, that April makes in the high 80's a year, and how combined with her husband, they make over a 100K a year, and how Ivette is a waitress and only takes home 300$ a week. Maggie and April are starting to get sick of it. If Ivette realizes this, she might just turn on them. Especially since she was saying in the HoH room how the 'rats', which is the people they talk to in the diary room, keep trying to tell her how if she did take Janelle or Howie to the end, she would definately win, etc., etc. and saying how they try to persuade her as well. So, we shall see. There is still one more day.

That's a really interesting thing you just mentioned in your post grease -- about the 'rats'. I assume they try and stay as un-biased as possible, but noting their ominous nature in the house, they obviously know more about the game than the houseguests. Plus, by telling Ivette that she could easily win against Howie and Janelle gets you thinking. They're by far the most popular people in the house, so it would be in their advantage to have them stay longer, for the ratings and all.

^ Yep. The HGs are always complaining about how the people in the diary nudge them in certain ways and say things that 'sound like Howie and Janelle would say.' I'm guessing that when they're in the diary room, they ask questions like, "Well, don't you think you COULD get further if you take Howie or Janelle to the end?" and that makes Ivette think about it. Houseguests in the past have also complained about the people in the diary room trying to make them say certain thing that they didn't want to, or that they would prod them to have a reaction to something they don't want a reaction to. I know Jennifer pissed off the people in the diary room when she wouldn't tell them anything about who she would nominate or why. I don't think, though, they'd tell them things they aren't supposed to -- like things Howie and Janelle discuss, etc. But they do divulge certain information.. like when stupid April wanted to press charges on Howie for "slandering" her husband by calling him fat, the people in the diary room told her, "Well, don't you think that Kaysar can press charges on people calling him a terrorist?" And then April went back to the HoH room and asked them who called Kaysar a terrorist and Ivette stayed really quiet, and when they asked her if it was her, she didn't say no, but instead she just brushed it off and was like how it "must have been Rachel" who did it. The rest of the nerd herd didn't believe it, obviously, because the rats wouldn't tell April that if it was someone on Kaysar's side who said it.

Los Angeles -- For the third time this season, BIG BROTHER 6 will put the power back into the hands of the viewers on Thursday, Sept. 8 (8:00-9:00 PM, live ET, delayed PT) when host Julie Chen announces a third America's Choice vote on the reality series.
In the ultimate fall premiere promotional crossover, BIG BROTHER 6 houseguests and viewers will get the chance to cast their ballot for their favorite remaining Houseguest to leave the Big Brother house and spend the day on the set of the hit comedy series TWO AND A HALF MEN. TWO AND A HALF MEN, currently the Number One comedy on television, is about men, women, sex, dating, divorce, mothers, single parenthood, sibling relations, surrogate families, money and, most importantly, love. More specifically, it's about the lives of two brothers, one brother's son, and the many women who surround them. Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen) is a well-to-do bachelor with a house at the beach, a Mercedes in the garage and an easy way with women. His casual Malibu lifestyle is interrupted when his tightly wound brother, Alan (Jon Cryer), and Alan's son, Jake (Angus T. Jones), come to stay with him. TWO AND A HALF MEN will have its third season premiere on Monday, September 19 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
As part of the TWO AND A HALF MEN set visit, the America's Choice winner will be whisked out of the Big Brother House and taken via limo to meet Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer, Angus T. Jones and the rest of the cast and watch a taping of the show. Following the taping, the houseguest will return to the Big Brother house and rejoin fellow contestants.
During the Saturday, September 10 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) broadcast of BIG BROTHER 6, voters will be informed of the outcome and watch a special broadcast of two and a half minutes of TWO AND A HALF MEN, as well as a recap of the winner's visit to the set.
GoldPocket Wireless provides both the direct connections to the major wireless carriers and the content management platform underlying the campaign. Positioning itself at the forefront of off-deck mobile content distribution, CBS is also utilizing GoldPocket Wireless's WAP push technology to sell viewers exclusive mobile content tied to the show. Through GoldPocket Wireless's premium billing integrations with carriers, CBS is able to deliver its viewers a seamless mobile experience; both the $0.49 charge per SMS-based vote and the $1.99 charge for show-related content appear on users' regular wireless bill. Consumers are fully informed on air and in the text messages of any charges before and while they use the wireless services.

Eh, I won't fault them for doing this. It's a yearly tradition! Curtis at The Emmys in Season 1, Jason and Amy's picnic in the outside world in Season 3 (as well as an appearance by Sheryl Crow), Jun at some MTV awards in Season 4, Marvin's guest shot on a soap opera in Season 5. They're probably was something in Season 2, but I don't recall.

God, this week is so confusing. First, it appears Maggie let it slip that Howie wasn't going home to April, and she had to twist the words around so it didn't sound that way. Then, Maggie said "they don't even realize they aren't being broken up" or something like that. Now, Ivette was telling Howie what to wear on Eviction night and on The Early Show. I don't know what is going to happen anymore, but I still hold out hope for the best.

OMG, this week's America's Choice is perfect for Janelle. It would no doubt give a boost to her aspiring actress/model career...considering the highlight on her life's resume is a (supposed) comercial.

Actually, she's said that when she gets out of the house she wants to go into real estate. She's never said anything about wanting to be an actress or model. She mentioned having done photoshoots for magazines (which she has, they're all over the internet) and that she was an extra in Bruce Almighty (you can see her on a deleted scene), and that she had her SAG card, but she never said that's what she wanted to do. She always talks about going back to school and going into real estate.
