New Movies
I saw Junebug yesterday. IT's a small, mostly quiet, a bit comedic film about a man who returns home for a while with his new wife (actually, the wife had a business proposition in the area and insisted they stop by). They're a southern family and she's grew up in Chicago. Amy Adams does a terrific job. Definitely something I would recommend, but it didn't strike me as anything more than a good, interesting film

Grading Standard:
A+: Rarely handed out; suggests the movie is beyond the year and one of the best I have ever seen.
A: Solid movie, best of the year.
A-: Among the great movies of the year but either not quite up to the standard set by the leading films of the year.

B+: Above average. Those films that aren't among the greats of the year but offer something new, fresh, or somethingabove what an average movie would deliver.
B: The average entertainment
B-: Slightly below average because of one too many flaws or possibly great potential and ideas behind a semi-sloppy product; but still good enough for a last resort recommendation.

C+: Falls just below a recommendation, could be part of a genre in which it would be rated better, but on its own, it doesn't hold up as anything close to solid entertainment
C: Sloppy and messy work with not much innovation behind it or lacking serious creativity
C-: Just an aweful mess

D: Transcends being one of the worst of the year.

Guess Who had some really funny scenes and a nice feel to the whole movie. Ashton Kutcher and Bernie Mac were perfect for those roles.

Sporadically hilarious, but it really mellows out towards the cliched ending. Vaughn was perfect, but Wilson just irritates me.

New Movies
Happy Endings: I didn't think this was a great movie, but I enjoyed it. I think it had great flow. I didn't like some of the minor plots because they just, I don't know, didn't seem real but I loved most of the character work.
