Mediocre acting on CSI? Marg, maybe. George proved himself in "Grave Danger". The rest are typically solid, from that list.

First of my For Your Consideration Posts.
Surprise Surprise its
JENNIFER GARNER, LEAD ACTRESS IN A DRAMATIC ROLE, ALIAS
For the role she won a Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild and various other notable awards for, Jennifer Garner proves her stunning range as an actress as Sydney Bristow who enters the strangest, most shocking year of her life.
In the shows most successful season yet, Alias never missed a beat. And neither did Jennifer Garner. The 8th most powerful actress in the world and the helmer of a blossoming career in Hollywood. Consider the multi-talented, atheletic and beautiful Jennifer Garner. An actress with a reputation for being one of the easiest to work with in Hollywood.

Also, guys, don't forget Lena Olin's guest appearance.
I'll have my votes to you within the next couple days, Mr. X. I'm still deciding on a couple categories.

Can I skip the "Excellence In Gameplay, Reality/Game Show Contestant" because I don't really watch reality shows so I have nobody to nominate. Or just give me the names of all of the good gay contestants on reality shows this season and I'll nominate them .
And opening sequence is the thing we see every week right, not the start of the show that comes before it?
And for animated, it can be stuff that's on during the day and not just at night right? Because I don't really watch animated shows.
And was it decided that it's 6 noms for each category? I read through this thread earlier but forgot if you came to a conclusion on it. If not, I say 6.

Take your time with all the categories, guys. Take your time with voting. I have three ballots so far, plus my own which I will do up soon. Hopefully, others will start nominating as well, but making up the ballots are a tad tough, especially for non-avid TV viewers. I could snag people like bABA if I say one or two per category is fine.
Incomplete ballots are NOT excluded, I just want to make sure it's impossible before you do that. Make sure you can't complete a category at all before you send it, because I don't want laziness being the cause. If I get less than 10 ballots (a strong possibility), then it's going to be close and I don't want close. I want clear cut six nominees per category, no ties.
Soon time to post a thread in the Water Cooler about this.

My noms are sent.
But real quick, more category confusion (I get confused a lot):
Maura Tierney on ER. Lead or supporting? I went for lead.
(A little FYC, too.)

I think we should be able to post our noms in here because it will help give others ideas and remind them of ones they might have forgotten. You could get more noms then.

She was Emmy-nominated in her first or second season on ER for Supporting... though her character lately is central to the series.

Alrighty. No problems there.
Oh, and also FYC for Noah Wyle (lead actor). He and Maura Tierney are in the group of TV actors (I'd put Peter Krause in there, too) who just make it look so easy, week after week.

I already said posting your nominations isn't approved by me, but I cannot stop you. If you want, go ahead. I'm just saying it takes away from the surprise a bit. Right now, I just want more ballots. Four (including mine which I'll do up today) so far, and I would like more! Deadline (still subject to change if necessary) is Monday, July 4th, but it can be extended. As long as it's before the Emmy nominations are announced on July... 12th? Someone help me out there.

I have a quick question for those who watch ER. Is Sherry Stringfield considered lead or supporting? I know she was lead during her first run, but not so much anymore. IMDB has her listed first, but that could be because she is the only original cast member.

Even though I'd say she's somewhere between lead and supporting (Maura Tierney is lead, Parminder Nagra, Linda Cardellini, and Laura Innes are all supporting), I'd actually still put her in lead. She runs the ER, after all.

If she got enough nominations, I would just put her in the category where she's recognized most, but that means a lost slot for the other category that others voted her in. A bit of a pickle.

Make a change!
And DKmuto, I agree on lead for Sherry (And, yes, that is a FYC for both those women  ). Thanks for replying.

I have another question. Would Meredith and Gretchen from The Amazing Race be considered two seperate contestants, or one since they were a team? That goes for any of the teams, in case others were thinking about voting them in.

Yeah, I forgot to specify that. We'll go with combined teams. So, if you liked Meredith and hated Gretchen, it all depends on how much you loved Meredith and hated Gretchen.

Yea, true. But Gretchen provided some entertainment, so that earns the team a spot.
