Cody putting himself over Brodie Lee = cringe. The hoss fight between Will Hobbs and Brian Cage was really good though.

Yeah I'm surprised Cody won the title back that fast.
Glad to see Chris Jericho celebrating 30 years but wish he could have had a better match than teaming with Hager.

And now they broke up New Day.
Plus Alexa/Fiends is aces.

Re: Wrestling (WWE, IMPACT, NXT, AEW)
I can't stress how much I love The Fiend and Alexa Bliss together. I was hesistant about putting Alexa in this position considering she does so well on her own, but it wouldn't work with anyone else.
And I noticed when he came to the ring, the graphic onscreen said The Fiend, instead of The Fiend Bray Wyatt. That's the way it always should have been. Fans know who The Fiend is, no need to kill any illusion.
I genuinely had no idea Lars Sullivan was still there. Vince must love him, this is his third attempt at the same tired gimmick.

Lars Sullivan probably won't last the year.

That stereo sister Abigail has to be the best thing right now on RAW. First time in over a year I'm actually watching live, the power of all red everything has me here

Re: Wrestling (WWE, IMPACT, NXT, AEW)
Something that rubbed me the wrong way this week is sending The Fiend and Bliss to RAW and leaving Roman on Smackdown. What was the point of that perfect stare-of-rage from Alexa on Reigns a few weeks ago? Pitch perfect it was and now it's another forgotten storyline.
I assume Big E is in line for a big push on Smackdown, moreso than Otis. Roman is champion until Mania I'm guessing and if they can push Big E right, he would be the ideal choice.

We have seen a lot of unlikely things come to pass in 2020. Jey Uso saving Braun Strowman from the savagery of Roman Reigns has to be near the top though.

Re: Wrestling (WWE, IMPACT, NXT, AEW)
Didn't watch Hell in a Cell, but here are some thoughts regardless:
-Super glad to see Randy Orton's insane 2020 likely end with a solid WWE Championship run. He can often "show up" only when the storyline entertains him, but either way, he's been a solid performer all year. I just really hope this doesn't lead to an Edge WWE title run. I love Edge and I hope he wrestles more, but I don't want any more part-timers taking world championships.
-On the reverse, I feel for Drew McIntyre because I'm afraid he will become Braun Strowman and his title run will be meaningless in a few weeks when he's back on the midcard spot. He carried the title strongly through the pandemic era. No one could have predicted that a few years ago. I hope he remains an A-player because, for better or worse, he's carried his weight since the Rumble.
-Man, I did not like Retribution, especially once a few of them became prominent with their silly masks, but it's kind of funny and kind of unfortunate that the group hit a wall once Mustafa Ali was made the leader. I'm glad The Hurt Business wasn't fed to them, because that whole group deserves a decent spot, but it feels like Retribution has been buried the last few weeks.

Re: Wrestling (WWE, IMPACT, NXT, AEW)
Sasha and Bayley should have gone on last. And poor Otis. Surprised Randy took the title since they moved so many heels over to Raw. Figured Drew would face Sheamus and AJ Styles before dropping it. I guess they'll probably have him face Drew again at TLC, then Edge at Mania. Not sure who gets the shot at Rumble, Bray maybe? Keith Lee looked like a prime contender but he's already fallen back into the midcard. Another good show overall though.

Re: Wrestling (WWE, IMPACT, NXT, AEW)
Injecting The Fiend into the Randy/Drew feud isn't a good idea. I hope that was just a one-off on RAW. Especially considering the next match is the Survivor Series champion vs. champion match.
Speaking of... cue the "RAW guys invade Smackdown" or vice versa, and have their big hectic brawl in the ring to end the show.

Re: Wrestling (WWE, IMPACT, NXT, AEW)
Gosh I hope they find title matches for both of those guys. The Raw v Smackdown tag matches are fine, but no fans actually give a fuck about brand supremacy. They cannot waste a main event slot on Heel Roman v Heel Orton ... right????

Re: Wrestling (WWE, IMPACT, NXT, AEW)
The title vs. title thing was kind of a neat idea a few years ago, especially Brock vs. Daniel Bryan. And of course Becky and Ronda, before it changed. But I would prefer leaving it at the 5 on 5 tag matches. That was the Survivor Series idea from the start.

Like him or not, every match he is in is a money main event. Randy v Drew 4 should definitely be the main event though. As for Roman, I dunno, Rey Mysterio maybe? Would be great for building his mega heat.

Re: Wrestling (WWE, IMPACT, NXT, AEW)
There's zero benefit to having Randy and Roman have a match at one of the big four PPVs. Especially with how Randy now has Drew McIntyre, The Fiend and The Miz all involved with him.

Feeling about things, I finally dropped some dough on an AEW ppv and have no regrets. This show is incredible.
