I quite enjoyed this one. Dylan O' Brien is pretty great as the lead and a very likable character and the dog he ends up with is lovable as well. I also loved the look and design of creatures too which looked like a really nice blend of CGI and practical effects. I just wish this movie had more Michael Rooker in it, because I thought his character was the most interesting and it would have been nice to see more of him in this, especially once it got to the third act.

Also, Jessica Henwick is just so charming and gorgeous. I would have definitely traveled 80 miles across a monster infested landscape for her :wub2:.

This was great. Dylan O' Brien is great in her and brings charm and the needed amount of wit to the character. His relationship with the dog is fascinating to watch. Jessica Henwick does not get much screen time but she is good in well. Brien's relationship with Michael Rooker and the girl is nicely handled and they are the best characters of the movie. The monster designs are done really keeping them realistic yet menacing enough. I loved how the movie ended not with a generic rom-com route. The final monologue is great providing hope and making it relevant to the current atmosphere.

A completely unashamed Zombieland/Fallout ripoff with an annoying main character somehow wound up being a hell of a fun time. Loved the world building, the monsters and especially the dog. B+

I really loved this! What a lovely surprise. It was wonderful! So touching, creative and fun, reminded me of a classic summer blockbuster. This is something I wish I could have seen in a theater. Would love to see a sequel. A-

I didn't realize until after watching this that it was from the steam that Brian Duffield was behind this and Spontaneous (which I also LOVED and had similar feelings about). Definitely one to watch.
