It makes one wonder how they'll manage to avoid such images from being shown. They could put the images on a delay, but they wouldn't be live-reactions then, so I don't know.

And can the person (Vince?) that decides to change the entrance theme for NXT call-ups stop? What is the point of this?

Vince is intent on not succeeding by someone else's suggestions or successes. If it's going to work, it's going to be his own doing.

Apparently, even though CFOS broke up, they still get 50% of every theme sale. What an agent they must have! Unfortunately that means all of their awesome songs are going to be phased out in favor of shitty new ones. Seriously, has there been one good one since they left?

Certainly one of the most interesting ideas in awhile. Here's hoping they deliver. I'm assuming Reigns will get the title tonight. Though I don't really get the point of having Braun drop the title to The Fiend at SummerSlam, only to turn around and have The Fiend lose it after one-week.

I'm not going to complain much about it though, since I have a feeling all of this was decided very last-minute with the uncertainty of Reigns returning. Heyman returning was also seemingly a surprise to most.

Hoping they finally did the turn to setup Reigns-Rock at Wrestlemania, which might be a Hollywood style cinematic match so Rock can Minimize injury risks.

I'm surprised by the mixed reaction to last night's show. Aren't people always complaining about WWE not making new stars and stubbornly refusing to change Roman's character? Well we got Keith Lee pinning Orton clean and a very clear heel turn from Roman .. yet even that isn't good enough lol.

Big points for WWE main card. Summerslam and Summerslam 2 were both better than Takeover 30 and they have a chance to compete with All Out. Plus, heel Roman and rising Keith Lee give us something to look forward to on Mondays and Fridays.

High expectations for this one. MOTY candidate, I hope.

Maybe not a MOTY candidate, but still good. Not a fan of the screwy, or rather incomplete, finish though.

I wish they'd just go "sudden death" immediately and simply call it overtime instead. They've done the overtime scenario in the past a few times, and even fairly recent according to Wikipedia (Ziggler/Rollins in 2018 and Flair/Banks in 2016), so why not this time? The last actual 60-minute ironman to go overtime was way back in 1996 in the classic Hart/Michaels WrestleMania XII match.

Iron Man matches always go into overtime. Honestly can't believe they didn't settle it. You could easily do a rematch for the title next week too and still have your ratings grab.

Wow. Vince is giving talent 30-days to end their third-party deals (YouTube, Twitch, etc.).

What a terrible look for an old, out-of-touch man. His revolutionary vision built a stronger empire in the 80s, which is where any of his ideas are stuck. I'm sure he doesn't get anything about the internet, beyond "Oh we're trending worldwide" which doesn't mean anything.

Using his logic, Roddy Piper, Hulk Hogan and The Rock shouldn't have been allowed to make movies while under WWE contract.

And if this is because of Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville being best friends outside of the ring, every single part of wrestling is dead or dying, so why is kayfabe still a thing? We all know it's fake. Why are we all pretending outside of the shows that it's real? It doesn't make anyone more money to pretend once WWE cameras are off.

Perhaps the most unusual, even concerning thing is Vince saying WWE owns superstars' real names. WWE has always been shady with their contracts--the talent aren't simply "independent contractors" despite the company saying so whenever it's convenient for them. And to punish the talent if they don't stay off of platforms like YouTube or Twitch, then they have to be classified as actual employees in some fashion, surely?

But yes, Vince is very much stuck in the past. I don't wish poor health on the man or anything, but I do anticipate what WWE will be like after he's gone.

Adam Cole, AJ Styles, Asuka*, Cesaro, Paige, and of course Xavier Woods all have a significant presence on at least one third-party platform, so I wonder how they'll handle their channels being cancelled. I may have missed a few more with notable third-party channels, but in addition to them, there's a lot of talent on these platforms.

*If KanaChanTV gets cancelled... :disgust:

:grrr:

And Matt Hardy took a nasty bump by falling ~8 feet or so, partially missing a table and hitting the back of his head off the concrete. He continued, so I'm assuming he didn't have a serious injury (immediately known, at least), but I'd be surprised if he didn't get a concussion.

Yeah AEW All Out was definitely a sloppy shop, full of botches and unnecessary high risk bumps. The first time AEW has taken a bad PR hit.

This post isn't intended to spark a debate (heated, anyway) over racial matters, but why does WWE like to group most of their black talent up for matches? >.> I was going to mention this weeks ago when I started noticing it again, and tonight they seriously had a 6-man tag team match with the black wrestlers.

Probably because all the black wrestlers are in the same spot on the card - featured, but not main eventers.

Sasha Banks v Charlotte, Hell in the Cell 2016, was the last time a black performer main evented a ppv in a featured role (not including Money in the Bank, Elimination Chamber, Royal Rumble, etc...)

Kofi never getting the main event slot is unfortunate. Keith Lee is talented and will hopefully be featured as a top performer and receive the main event slot in the future. Big E will probably be a similar Kofi situation.

And speaking of Sasha Banks, thank goodness they finally decided to begin her feud with Bayley. And with the injury angle, it'd be nice for Sasha to maybe return for the Rumble, win it, and challenged Bayley at WrestleMania, but that might be too much of a "dream scenario." I just hope they don't rush it and hold off on their match until at least Survivor Series or the Royal Rumble itself.
