Re: Netflix Daily Top Ten
The biggest thing is Netflix doesn't really care about individual releases. Views don't translate revenue for them. All that matters is content to add subscriptions. You can't even really compare it to music downloads. I think they'd have do more of a % scale of all Netflix members and know what the current membership is to get at least some sort of system that makes sense.

Re: Netflix Daily Top Ten
Yes its tricky to gauge the actual view from responding to an advertisement and wrongly clicking a title. I remember I clicked a film accidentally saw the studio logo and then decided to not watch it but then it was in my viewing activity for a long long time. Netflix even sent a message to continue watching it but I never went back to it and I don't think I am alone in this.

Netflix probably has some ways to track the amount of time a viewer spends watching a show and uses it to calculate a weighted viewership.

3/18/20 - National Hangover Day has been postponed
1. All-American (series, new) 2. On My Block (-1) 3. Love Is Blind (=) 4. Spenser Confidential (-2) 5. Boss Baby: Back In Business (=) 6. Lost Girls (-2) 7. Brett Kreischer: Hey Big Boy (stand-up, new) 8. 100 Humans (-2) 9. Outbreak (-3) 10. The Assignment (movie, new)
Weird that there is no Irish stuff (except for the comedian maybe?). Everyone must have lost the holiday spirit. Can’t even blame Netflix as they’d have every reason to repromote The Irishman.

Outbreak and Pandemic seem like excellent mental diversion choices.

Re: Netflix Daily Top Ten
Nice I wanted to see this. Aftermath seems like someone adapted the season 2 finale of Breaking Bad into an entire movie.

Re: Netflix Daily Top Ten
These charts look almost as bad as Spotify top 10.
Also a) Why did they name him Spenser with an s? Are his parents celebrities? b) After naming him Spenser with an s, they felt so confident about it that they put his name in the title?

Re: Netflix Daily Top Ten
Yay. I wanted to see Love Birds. Glad to hear it’s now headed to Netflix. I doubt the films headed to streaming will later be released in theaters no matter what the studios are promising the exhibitors.

I wonder if we can get these numbers constantly and not just for Netflix but for all other services.

Movies are pretty much the same. Aftermath and Platform jumped up a few spots.

Re: Netflix Daily Top Ten
3/23/20 - is it Monday?
1. Tiger King (+2) 2. Self Made (-1) 3. All American (-1) 4. Spenser Confidential (=) 5. Love Is Blond (=) 6. 2012 (=) 7. Pandemic (=) 8. The Platform (movie, new) 9. 100 Humans (-1) 10. The Letter for the King (series, new)
Platform looks kind of interesting.
Movies-
1. Spenser Confidential 2. 2012 3. The Platform 4. Outbreak 5. Aftermath 6. Lost Girls 7. The Assignment 8. Angry Birds 2 9. Space Jam 10. 3022
Interesting that the family friendly content just keeps getting pushed further and further down in favor of movies about a potential apocalypse.

I've heard good things about The Platform. I'll have to give it a watch.

Re: Netflix Daily Top Ten
The Platform is a surprise hit in Hong Kong for an NC-17 Spanish-language film. It's made over US$350,000 so far, just a tad behind The Gentlemen. I will definitely check it out in a few days.

[quote="Flava'd vs The World"]3/24/20 - The Undertaker’s birthday
1. Tiger King (=) 2. All American (+1) 3. Self Made (-1) 4. Love Is Blind (+1) 5. Spenser Confidential (-1) 6. The Letter for the King (+4) 7. Boss Baby: Back In Business(return) 8. The Platform (=) 9. 100 Humans (=) 10. On My Block (return)
Movies:
1. Spenser Confidential 2. The Platform 3. 2012 4. Angry Birds 5. Outbreak 6. Aftermath 7. Space Jam 8. Lost Girls 9. The Assignment 10. 3022
And then the apocalyptic genre takes a hit today. The stock market is rising too so people must be feeling optimistic about the stimulus package.
