That would be a horrible preview to OD multiplier. Very surprising

I know it's probably not far off, but I'm not listening to an article written at 3:30PM on a Friday.

Very good for Harriet. Should have long legs with its WOM. Awful but expected for the other 3 movies.

I bought ticket to 6:30pm showing of Dark Fate and I’m the only one in the theater. Hope I get the whole place to myself :D Private screening baby!

If their projection were conservative it would be one thing, but I don’t think they would be willing to risk a number well below expectations unless the data strongly supported it.

Ticket sales just died too soon. Looking at struggling to hit 10m OD with previews !!!!. Bombed big time in China as well losing more than half the gross from Genisis. This is an epic disaster that puts final nail in this franchise's coffin. Cameron will probably try to see a tv series to Netflix or some other platform when he gets the rights back next year.

I hear it is basically a (poor) remake of T2. They do need to stop with these films.

Cameron better worry about the Avatar sequels. Maybe not 2 but certainly 3 and 4.

uh oh... maybe there is a "no more generic action movies" lesson to be learned.

Same lesson: Midway looks to be another bomb in the making.

Jesus. It might not even break 25m if it doesn't hit a 10m Friday. Embarassing.

Pretty crazy how we had 13 films gross 160-270m last year and this year we're looking at... 4 lol. Next year will likely be worse based on schedule now.

Dear god, let the Terminator franchise die. If they had just shut it down since 2003 they could've had a nice nostalgia reboot right about now but instead they had to make Salvation, Genisys and Dark Fate

Alternate plan: Give it to Michael Bay. Terminator vs Transformers. Let's do this shit.

Dark Fate - 10.6m
Joker - 3.85m

Joker is having sensational hold. Looking at sub 30% drop. Definitely beating Suicide Squad, BVS and may be Aquaman as well.

700k for Arctic Dogs. :hahaha:

Pretty decent drops all around thanks to all the floppage. Even Countdown is only -49% from last Friday.

Looks like Harriet will come close to 12 million. Very good. With an A+ cinemascore and 99 RT audience score this film will be around for while.

Mostly good drops for holdovers. Even Countdown will drop less than 50%.

Joker willl likely beat Aquaman and a billion seems certain.

Poor Paramount. I can't even look at their schedule on BOM cause you need imdb pro now what a bunch of bullshit

A Quiet Place 2 will probably do fine but might have a similar drop like It 2.

While its domestic run is very good, its OS run is insane. It has even beaten Endgame in some European markets !!!! 4th weekend in Germany is also looking like a record for the year ahead of Lion King and Endgame !!!! Italy and Spain as well its going to get close to Endgame if I am not wrong. Even in Mexico its beat Ultron and probably even 1st Avengers movie before end of its run. It broke out almost everywhere.

In China though its not releasing, its having insane reviews at Douban. Had it released there it would have grossed like 300m.

Its going to finish like 340m Dom and 715m OS for 1.055B WW. I wonder when WB will announce Joker 2.

Maybe domestically but I don’t see Avatar sequels making less than $1B OS.

They won't miss $1b- at least not the first two. But I guess that's why films like Dark Fate are still made.
