I think it looks better than the Pet Sematary remake at least. There’s something off about that film.

This is kind of rough. Nothing is that bad based off the trailer/teaser, but it's unfortunate we don't even see Chucky for a brief moment, beyond a shadowy look.

Obviously a horror franchise that started thirty years ago is open to a reboot for a new generation, as much as it'll probably suck, but it's unfortunate this is happening while the original franchise is still alive and well, even if it's DTV and possibly a TV series.

The movie might still suck, but I really like that teaser. I wasn't expecting them to reveal Chucky this early and I love the ominous/dark tone of it.

The kid looks older than the one in the original.

Will there be a scene set in the Good Guy Doll factory like the second one in the series? That'd be great.

It seems the production team of the original series is not affiliated with this one.

Crap trailer but you can tell they'll aim for another IT event. Has that significance about it, just makes no sense without showing the villain.

Bad move to show the kid screaming as his mom is about to be murdered. I think that's too visceral and uncomfortable for a lot of people to watch. They want to have fun at the movies, even if it involves torture and horror. It reminds me of WB's choice to fill the Poseidon trailer with scenes of people drowning.
