I'm counting it as 2018 (when it was released in the US... I am American after all) and for me it is a worthy #1. Although as opposed to you, I'm pretty thrilled about the slate of movies I've seen.

There's a very good chance that each of the movies on my list (apart from maybe 1 or 2) will have been replaced about 6 months from now. It usually happens that way, as I tend to watch many of the better ones in the first few months of the following year. However, this year's early edition is just strikingly bad.
