Re: Pitch Perfect 3
It's not a great movie, but it's entertaining and has its moments. It's not even in the same league as the original (which I love) or even the second (which is flawed but enjoyable). The plot is ridiculous and dumb, but the musical numbers are spirited and well-done and the cast continues to charm. Hailee Steinfeld is actually really solid here which was a surprise because I found her bland in the second film. Anna Kendrick's on autopilot mode but I always enjoy her, and it was nice to see an expanded arc for Brittany Snow's character. I do hope this is the last film though - there's really nothing else they can do with this series. B-/C+

Re: Pitch Perfect 3
Pitch Perfect 3 is easily the worst film in the series. The first half is just brutally unfunny and uncharming. Fortunately, it warms up quite a bit in the second half. Plus, Rebel Wilson FTW. *B-*

Re: Pitch Perfect 3
It has nothing on the first two. They were really reaching with this story. But I was entertained. That's about what I expected.

Re: Pitch Perfect 3
Compared to first two movies this was a big letdown where the writers fail to bring out a coherent story or the reason for its existence. Anna Kendrick seems to be bored of the movie and its good that they decided to stop making these movies.
