ive always hated RT way before this DC thing. RT generally works if you look at the ratings. Both BvS and Suicide Squad are at a 4.9, which isn't far off from the 44 and 41 ratings they got at Metacritic. Even more generous than that, even. The rotten/fresh thing doesn't quite work because just being very much above average without being really good can get you a super fresh rating, while on the other end of the spectrum being below average can get you an absolutely terrible rating.
