Which is great if you look at it from a narrow personal view in terms of being focused on your list and your list only.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but when I look at the Cinemania section and I see a new post in this thread from someone whose opinion I respect, I'm interested to see what movie they saw. I might even do a little guessing game as to what movie they saw and how they liked it. Or sometimes you even get a little surprise from someone like Chippy who just caught up with Zootopia. I came in here figuring that he had seen Ghostbusters.

Going back and editing the posts instead of updating them would take the fun out of this and make it much more clinical. You might have a point with the theater/home one.

I thought about seeing Ghostbusters this weekend. Because everyone keeps saying how great McKinnon is. I've actually been watching a lot of movies lately, but weirdly none from this year as far as I can remember.

I agree with Steve. Then again, there's nothing stopping anyone from sticking to one post per year.
