Alright... before we talk about that finale - Does Varys have the ability to teleport? I know individual scenes aren't necessarily happening at similar times, but still! One-way voyage to Dorne and back in record time.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
Shouldn't be a surprise that most fan servicey season on record should deliver a highly satisfying finale, but hot damn! R + L = J confirmed. The Mad Queen rises, Jon is King in the North, Arya facassinates Frey, Tyrion is the Hand, the Mad Queen rises and Dany is FINALLY going to Westeros. Season finale day is always sad though. The shorter seasons will be even worse.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
The Frey assasination seems anticlimatic. I just don't like how characters just magically appear in one location so fast. I'm talking about Arya already arriving in Riverrun and Varys going from Slaver's Bay to Drone and back in Slaver's bay so quick

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
Well technically there was nothing in Arya's story connected to the timeline with Westoros. So all that could have happened several months ago.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
They probably should have ended an earlier episode with Arya leaving Braavos rather than it being two episodes ago.
Also, Lyanna Mormont is pretty great; hope we get to see her a few more times before the series ends.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
Cersei is just so evil. I hate her so much. Part of me wants to see Dany dracrais her ass. However, I have a feeling Jamie will probably kill her. I was glad Arya killed the Freys. They got what they deserved. Man so many houses now dead on this show Baratheon, Frey, Tyrell, and the Martels are all pretty much gone. And how Lannister doesn't really have an heir. The big houses left are really the Targarians, Starks, and Greyjoys. Speaking of the Starks, I loved seeing R+L=J theory come true and then he named king of the north that was a great moment.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
So we didn't see anything with the Hound or the Brotherhood w/o Banners? WTF are they in the show again?
Lena Headey is definitely winning her Emmy for this episode. She's not even hot anymore with her ugly haircut. She is definitely the worst villain that the show has ever had. What she did makes Ramsay Bolton look as noble as Jon Snow. I don't know how this monster can possibly ever get what she deserves.
I also don't like that the show is heading toward a battle with the White Walkers. Neither a victory or a defeat will be satisfying. (Victory is predictable, defeat will make me kill myself).

I don't think Cersei makes it past next season. I can't see how she can take on Dany's army. I guess Euron might ally with her. They haven't done a good job with his character at all.

Cersei is evena bigger villain than The Night's King.

Another set of stunning sequences. Tommen ended the sequence so brutally in King's Landing. Amazing end to the season.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
Will Daenerys want to destroy the Starks, too, since Jon is a "king"? Would his rule be a challenge to her vision of being an absolute queen? Or does she only want the throne in King's Landing?

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
It was a good episode, but there's really TOO many storylines for all to really properly wrap this up in the already extended last episode. It was a cool and satisfying episode for sure, season ended quite nice. Entertaining show, looking forward to next season.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
HBO confirms R + L = J. So I guess the whisper will just determine if they were married or not. AeJon?
And I imagine Dany will be more sympathetic to the Great War in the North than the current Queen. Maybe that will be Melisandres role next season.

Magnus wrote: Next season: Dany invades the south, Jamie kills Cersei, Dany takes over though not after there's some issue with the dragons that she has to fix, Littlefinger causes a rift between Sansa/Jon, Littlefinger dies and Sansa/Jon reconcile, Sam/Jorah meet up in the Citadel and find some secrets about night King/others, Bran has more visions, Arya finds Melissandre and The Hound and teams up with brother hood and they kill people, The Wall gets destroyed.
Last season: Jon retreats to south, Sam comes with a solution, massive battle between humans and undead, mostly everyone dies, and Dany rules a forsaken kingdom. These are predictions or do you have inside info?
