I was excited to see Tobias Menzies briefly return because I love him in Outlander and The Night Manager, but I honestly forget the significance of his character. He was friendly to the Starks, right?

He was Catelyn's brother, the one who got married at the Red Wedding.

Oh, right. And he was afraid his wife was going to be ugly, but she ended up being young and beautiful, right?

Is the wife also a prisoner, I wonder.

My guess would be Victarion Greyjoy...except he might be a bit too old for that.

Episode 6 was a bit dull for me. Sure, the story develops, but we see like only 5min. of every plot line, and nothing feels like it involves the greater story. Sam's part is nice, but don't see the impact. Tommon turn surprised me, but also kind of dull endeavor. Daenerys speech was impressive, so ended on a good note, but otherwise, hope the week quickly passes by so we can get things moving.

Why would they bring Victarion into it now that the Kingsmoot is over? I think the odds are better that Yara takes his plotline and is sent to get Daenerys' dragons once Euron promises her the Seastone chair.



That was easily the worst part of the episode. So cringe worthy and there is no lazier way to end a Game of Thrones episode than with Daenerys giving a motivational speech in Valyrian.

McShane has a small one episode role and he'll likely resurrect the Hound.

Honestly I think Euron will take on that plotline himself. It doesn't make sense for Yara (ugh, that name) to do it, especially not when her uncle's pretty set on there being family murder times soon.



Good thing then that she wouldn't address a sea of Dothraki in Valyrian then, instead of their own Dothraki language.

No! Let this be a joke! Only 13 episodes between the final two seasons?! Bullshit!

Meh. I'd rather it just be one final season if they're only gonna do 13. Otherwise they should pad it with some bottle episodes or maybe even Bran flashbacks.

I'm guessing the show is getting expensive already and with the final face off (armies, dragons, etc.) they will be VERY expensive. So I'm fine with less episodes, more action and story progression.

They won't do a movie.

They should do one regular season and then make a 3 hour long movie of the remaining episodes. There is no reason to drag it out to two more years if they have to do really short seasons to make it work.

The main reason is that they feel that they are simply not capable of completing ten episodes within a year anymore as they become more and more complex and elaborate.

Tonight's episode was great. I loved seeing the Riverrun stuff from Feast.

Arya isn't going to die. She just can't.

I really hope that Jon, Sansa and Davos visit Ser Wyman next episode, but they won't.

Though I literally feel like Lady Stoneheart is hiding just offscreen.

Yeah Arya isn't dying. Although her storyline seems pretty pointless to this point. Unless she steals some faces before she leaves Braavos.

That was the Cersei takedown people were expecting for years. I loveeeeeeeeee her but Olenna was right.

Was the first cold open since the pilot? I popped for Ian McShane and the Hound. Too bad that ended so quickly. Why is the BWB full on evil now? Ian had so much more to give.

They should have saved Arya for next week or at least given her another scene.

Good episode overall though. The cinematography in the Riverlands is incredible.

eh, episode was fine. I thought the chick got Arya's neck, my jaw dropped. I'm intrigued with where The Hound will go, and if Cleganebowl will really happen....

So that definitely sets up Stoneheart which will have a huge impact because it's happening so late after RW vs the books.

BTW - that was one of the most visually stunning episodes yet.
