 CA: Civil War will beat BvS domestic club I'm gonna try my Anti-Excel shoes on and declare CIVIL WAR the winner. It's only fitting as BvS blinked first and moved away from the once shared opening weekend slot.

Right now I am giving the edge to BvS because I see it opening bigger and WoM won't be similar to MoS....i hope.

I don't know how a movie with "no interest" or "lesser interest" can make people re-watch it or bring in more people late in its run even with OKish WoM.
AoU didn't live to expectations but a lot of people were predicting $500m total for it so I am just not sure how $460m is sounding the alarms on Marvel.

Re: CA: Civil War will beat BvS domestic club Nah BvS will comfortably beat CW. its 3rd Avengers film while we are seeing Bats and Supes together for the 1st time. I think CW coming 6 weeks after BvS will take away its buzz. Plus AOU had meh WOM which will impact CW.
I would say BvS - 500m and CW - 350m.

I am sorry, but I while I think, and hope BvS has the higher gross, I do not agree that Cap3 won't have an epic feel. Even though Avengers is not in the title, Marvel will be using a Avengers-like push to try to beat BvS. Trailers and TV spots will really play up the Avenget vs. Avenger angle (Hey! That's a good tagline).
