 Re: Germany Box-Office Thread
I was hoping for PADDINGTON to be the 5th one, but I think it will peter out at 2m admissions...

 Re: Germany Box-Office Thread
Never understood why you thought it could happen Paddington is not very popular here. I think its performance is already GREAT.

 Re: Germany Box-Office Thread
So yesterday local movie HONIG IM KOPF reached Überblockbuster status (6m admissions) and today it will pass THE HOBBIT III for No. 1 of 2014...
(of course, TH3 will stay No. 1 in box office by a wide margin)
And 50SOG reached blockbuster status (3m) on Friday...

 Re: Germany Box-Office Thread
JURASSIC WORLD opened with about 900,000 admissions (€10m), third biggest opening of the year (the other two being Universal stablemates 50SOG & F&F7) - pretty impressive considering the heatwave... Next weekend looks much more theater friendly, so a very good hold is possible...

 Re: Germany Box-Office Thread
A heatwave last week surely impacted JURASSIC WORLD's opening, but this weekend it looks like JW will stay flat or even improve to 1m admissions - beating the second weekends of 50SOG and F&F7 by a wide margin...

 Re: Germany Box-Office Thread
Very nice, but expected, considering that with "normal" moviegoing weather Jurassic World probably would have opened at least 30% higher.

Even with temperatures around 100F MINIONS is taking Germany by storm, it could open double DM2...

I am really surprised that Blue Sky hasn't made a standalone Scrat film yet.
