 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
Stannis needs to die ASAP. I can't believe I'm gonna be rooting for the Boltons. I'm guessing in Winds, Mel burns Shireen to bring him back, but gets a different result than she planned! What a bitch. I hope Ghost eats her. I think this also trumps the Sansa scene by a fair bit. I wonder if there will be as much outrage?
The fighting pits scene at the end was great, and I'm kinda glad Hizdahr wasn't actually involved in the conspiracy, though I bet he now wishes he was. Hopefully Tyrion and Daario will release the other two and Mereen will be burned to the ground, finally ending this boring analogy. Jorah is a fucking idiot though. You love Dany so much, yet touch her when you have fucking greyscale?

No outrage because of no rapey but maybe book fans rightfully justified because of what they are doing to Stannis.

The guy who killed his brother with a shadow monster?
It's also weird that nether Jaime or Mace Tyrell or anyone at all has heard about what's going on in King's Landing. Nearly the entire royal family was arrested and a religious militia has taken over the country. Nobody seems to care.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
The North will revolt against the Boltons eventually. Stannis will burn all the Weirwoods, burn Sansa (I don't care what anyone says, being burned alive is worse than being raped) , burn Theon and continue to chase his own dream instead of fighting the White Walkers, just like everyone else. In the books Stannis is likeable because we mostly see him through the eyes of his biggest fan. The best thing he's done is save the Night's Watch, but would he have done that if he had won the Battle of Blackwater? After tonight I'm gonna say no.

I don't completely agree since Mel knows the White Walkers are the main threat and has said this many times. She is just wrong with who the chose one is. I do wonder if she will rush back to

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
I think Mel knows Jon is the real deal and not Stannis but she'll take what she can get . Now that Shireen scene was just damn nasty and yes worse than the Sansa rape. But offcourse it will have nothing like the same outcry. And Dany finally riding Drogon was awesome. I like how they changed the poisoning to a different method and also had Jorah help save the day (which we could see coming). I suspect the next episode will end with Dany being surrounded by the Dothraki which will be a softener after the Jon scene.

Mel/Stannis have (through their blood magic) been responsible for the deaths of Renly, Robb, Joffrey, Balon and now Shereen.... The passing of time is a little hazy this season but I guess Dorne is a fair way off and it does take time for news to travel. Unless you are Littlefinger or Varys offcourse.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
Come on people. It would be ridiculous and cliche for Brienne to kill Stannis. It goes against everything that GRRM wants to avoid. Its not as though Arya kills Tywin or Joffrey. I would quit the show if that happens. If Stannis dies, it would be by circumstances we don't expect.

What if Mel just saw Robb/Joff's deaths in the flames and decided to take credit for them? And show Balon is still alive. GRRM way for Stannis to die: Brienne is about to save Sansa, but instead chooses her revenge, taking her down a peg. Theon then helps Sansa escape instead.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
Thank goodness Flaved is not a writer That type of shit is Michael Bay level. It would most likely be Brienne dying before Stannis. Stannis would most likely die to the White Walkers

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
How is Stannis dying to the Walkers any less Michael Bay? He's just a pretender and will be gone before the real fighting begins. I can't believe Ned died for this asshole.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
What does Brienne do then? Jaime doesn't seem to remember her anymore. There's no LS for her to join up with. Satannis is all she has left. How about she fights him, defeats him, spares him and then they both get killed by nameless Bolton soldiers?

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
Brienne is a one man army and you really think she could get to Stannis who is being guarded by thousand of men. She also has an oaf of a squire to look after. If anything, I could see the Tully clan take up the mantle fo LadyStone heart since they do have beef to settle with the Freys and Lannisters for Red Wedding.
Brienne also is one of those characters that can easily be killed off like Jaimee.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
Another fun episode, though the final 15 minutes lacked the same punch as last week's. Still a stellar episode. I like Dany but it's nice to see her in a more vulnerable state. She's been pretty untouchable for a few seasons at least, if not the whole series (depends how you look at Season 1).

Brienne also is one of those characters that can easily be killed off like Jaimee. They (show not book) are certainly setting it up that there will be some sort of confrontation between Brienne and Stannis. I doubt she kills him though.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
That was expected since the last two books were the least eventful.
Anyhow the seasons rank is this for me 1.Season 4 2.Season 1 3.Season 3 (minus points because they removed the Brave Companions) 4.Season 2 (minus pointsbecause they got rid of the whole Reek arc there)
