El Maskado wrote: I doubt Brienne will cut Stannis in half. That would be too cliche. Even most of the people on Arya's shit list was not killed by her hand and Oberyn never got his revenge on the Mountain. Then again this is D&D's version of things not George RR Martin.
I hope that Stannis doesn't get killed because every other two season, there is a big battle scene "Blackwater" and "Castleblack". I think next season would be the battle for Winterfell between the Boltons and Baratheons. Winds of Winter covers an excerpt for the battle. I think we'll see that battle at the end of this season, no?

So glad the Bitch got it, Cersei got what she deserved. However, they have changed it slightly with it really being Littlefinger behind it all. It was cool we finally got the meeting between Dany and Tyrion, been waiting for that forever it seems.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
Yay I like Dany again. A sex scene plus her enjoying the non fatal violence gets her back in my good graces, and hopefully Tyrion can get her the fuck out of Mereen and starting burning shit again.
Eat it Cersei!
I'm glad Gilly didn't get raped, but leaving Ghost behind seems like a big mistake on Jon's part.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
Yeah that would have been awful. However, that scene did make me like one of the Sand Snakes, which neither D&D or GRRM had managed to accomplish before. I'm sure she is just using Broon, but it'd make me so happy if they stayed in Dorne together and left the Game behind.

The Mannis! I have a feeling something terrible is going to happen in his camp.
Much better episode this week. Let's keep it going!

I too fear that the end is near for Stannis I must say - after that prison scene Im much more enthusiastic about the sand snakes.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
casting rumors have come out of who they are looking for season 6 http://winteriscoming.net/2015/05/27/ga ... eculation/Pirate, man in his 40’s to late 50’s. He’s “an infamous pirate who has terrorized seas all around the world. Cunning, ruthless, with a touch of madness.” He’s a dangerous-looking man. A very good part this season. He sounds like Euron Greyjoy to me, the others sounds like Sam's family. I guessing Oldtown plays a big role next year. And if it is right Euron will probably be set up as the next major villain.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
So atleast Euron is in this (it makes sense seeing that they invested in Asha/Yara and Balon already. They'll probably merge Euron and Victarion as one character which is ok.
So we'll have to see how and when they start to wind Dorne back down.
It also means that putting him in S6 means its likely the series wont end in 7 seasons but rather 8.

I hope they Wyman Manderlay in the show because of that one powerful speech he gave to Davos in the end. I also would like to see the siege of Riverrun with the two Tullys returning

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
I thought this was a better episode. Lots of interesting biting dialogue going on. Tommen is still a weak ass king whose days are numbered no doubt. I love Grandma Tyrrell as a character. Her dialogue is always nice to listen to. I know this season is leading to Brianne doing something knightly sooner or later. Also, it was nice seeing Cersei get a mini comeuppance but she is right about what she told that lady and I look forward to that.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
I do not mean this in a prudish way, but there seemed to be an unusual amount of f bombs in tonight's episode. Game of Thrones is rarely so fuck this, fuck that, fuck 'em all.

That right there is why we need a movie/movies based on the last book because you can imagine what a bigger budget would do and watch it in front of an enthusiastic crowd.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
The greatest action sequence ever featured on Game of Thrones? Maybe? Just topping Blackwater?
I also highly enjoyed the scenes with Peter Dinklage and Emilia Clarke.

Everything I said about this season being boring before... Tonight made up for that. Without a doubt my favorite 20 minutes of this show ever. Holy balls it was good!

I've hated this season for the most part but last night's episode was great. The final 20 minutes were spectacular.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
So, the it is confirmed he is the Night King, the former Lord Commander who fell in love with a White Walker. He is suppose to be a Stark which would be interesting. It is pretty clear he is the main villain in this show.
