 Re: Best Actor 2014 I concede he has a chance in the weak Supporting Actor field, but no chance in ultra competitive Best Actor field category fraud, particularly with category split vote like Jack Nicholson for The Departed.

Re: Best Actor 2014 I could see Cumberbatch missing. At this point in time I really don't see Gyllenhaal missing but of course, that's just my opinion.

Re: Best Actor 2014 I don't think anyone besides Redmayne and Keaton is safe. BAFTA has shown that Theory of Everything is stronger than The Imitation Game. I can definitely see some major surprises in this category.
