One of the best if not the best movie starring Seagal. Funnily enough he dies 20 minutes into the movie which actually does the movie some good. I doubt it'd have been as interesting and suspenseful if Seagal was the lead. Kurt Russell does a good job. The movie is mostly generic, but made with excellent suspense, great moments and nice action. Interestingly, there are barely shot-outs or fights, yet the movie seems so action-packed. That's what I call a good directing job.

Re: Executive Decision This and the Fugitive are probably the two most watchable films for me whenever its on TBS or TNT. This is not only a very well made action film, it takes its time setting up these action scenes with intense thrilling moments. Kurt leads a very well established character cast. Not only to boot, its Steven Segal's best movie of all time. His demise was so unexpected and brilliant that it gave the film a very intense blow in the beginning (Good in my opinion, another Segal terrorist film would have probably been boring) Kurt takes control and is an awesome presence in any film, a great couple of years for him certainly.
Solid A
This and Air Force One are probably the two best aerial thrillers ever made.
