 Re: Avatar and Signature Trouble
The image you're linking to is likely too big. You need to download it to your PC, resize it in Microsoft Paint, then upload it to imgur.com and link to that address instead.
What's the link to the image you're trying to use?

zwackerm wrote: Thank you. What am I doing wrong for the signature? You don't edit your signature by replying to someone. Actual steps: 1. Click on Board Index. 2. Click User Control Panel. 3. Click Profile. 4. Click Edit Signature. 5. Edit your signature as desired. (If you have an image, post the image URL between the [img] tags.)

 Re: Avatar and Signature Trouble
Hey KL, I've been trying to use the following image for my avatar... Code: http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s186/Tyler_Read/2a941560-7ae9-42b1-bc59-6827d4a3b886_zps38b04113.jpg ...but it doesn't appear to be working. The dimensions are exactly 175W and 150H so that shouldn't be the issue. Would anyone know what the exact problem is?

Be sure to go into the User Control Panel, not My Page.

 Re: Avatar and Signature Trouble
This isn't about my avatar, but other peoples'. Is there a reason that I see so many Imageshack frogs as avatars? Box, MadGez, Rolling Thunder.

 Re: Avatar and Signature Trouble
I would guess something is wrong with Imageshack, or all of their avatar pictures expired.

 Re: Avatar and Signature Trouble
I'm trying to make my avatar not distorted. I'm editing it using paint and using postimage.com to link to the site, but no matter how I resize it, the aspect ratio will not stay the same. I'm aware of the 150 by 250 limit. How did you get the Star Wars poster to stay correct, MovieGeek?

 Re: Avatar and Signature Trouble
In the Control Panel, in the Profile menu, then in the Edit Avatar menu, you will see Avatar Dimensions. Make sure that is set to 150 x 227. Or if it already is, then delete those values and have nothing. Press submit and see if the problem is corrected.
