Re: No Good Deed (2014)
Serviceable, extremely predictable. Not bad for a rainy day, though, given the presence of superb lead actors Idris Elba and Taraji P. Henson. C

Re: No Good Deed (2014)
I thought it was entertaining. The extreme negative reviews are a little baffling. It's not that bad. It's just your average generic thriller, but an enjoyable one. The leads were very good. I wouldn't expect reviews to be overly positive by critics but THIS negative is a little ridiculous.
Anyway, I'd give it a solid B.

Re: No Good Deed (2014)
This was entertaining and it featured two strong leading performances. It had it's moments of intensity too, which I wasn't expecting. It is completely by the numbers but if you know what to expect, I don't see why you wouldn't have a good time with it. That being said, I'm kind of surprised the MPAA gave this a PG-13. While I was watching it I thought it had to be R and I just screwed something up.

Oh, Idris Elba, why oh why? Such a great actor, who could so so much better. Anyway, this has the look and the feel of a passable made-for-TV movie with a lot of ludicrous moments and only mild suspense. Don't get me started on that twist either...

Re: No Good Deed (2014)
Elba is the only part of this film which can be considered good and I believe there is a hint of his realization at how ridiculous the film is as his performance is comical in a way.
