Re: Top 10 OS and WW movies of 2014
As of 11-April
Top 10 OS movies of 2013 1. 300: Rise of an Empire - $220.7m 2. Captain America: The Winter Soldier - $207.1m 3. RoboCop (2014) - $183.4m 4. The LEGO Movie - $160.0m 5. Need for Speed - $143.7m 6. Mr. Peabody & Sherman - $136.5m 7. The Wind Rises - $112.7m 8. Noah - $106.2m 9. Non-Stop - $94.6m 10. Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit - $83.7m
Consolation price to Snowpiercer at 11th position which did surprising well in OS markets specially South Korea.
300 will not be able to maintain its #1 position for long. CA2 should easily reach #2 this weekend. Also climbing the charts should be Noah and Rio 2 which is yet to enter this list but will do so eventually.
Divergent seems to be doing quite bad in OS markets with just $22.4m total.

Top 10 WW movies of 2013 1. The LEGO Movie - $411.0m 2. 300: Rise of an Empire - $325.2m 3. Captain America: The Winter Soldier - $320.1m 4. RoboCop (2014) - $240.8m 5. Mr. Peabody & Sherman - $239.6m 6. Need for Speed - $185.0m 7. Non-Stop - $183.2m 8. Noah - $182.6m 9. The Monuments Men - $153.3m 10. Ride Along - $149.2m
Divergent gets the consolation position at #11 but is should climb to #10 eventually.
Lego might loose its position after this weekend to CA2 which should climb to #2 in a day or two. Impressive for Robocop to be so high in this list. Noah is also climbing the charts soon. Also bound to enter here most likely this weekend is Rio 2.

Top 10 OS movies of 2014 1. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - $489.0m 2. Captain America: The Winter Soldier - $454.1m 3. Rio 2 - $326.6m 4. Noah - $244.6m 5. 300: Rise of an Empire - $224.3m 6. The LEGO Movie - $206.4m 7. X-Men: Days of Future Past - $191.0m 8. RoboCop (2014) - $184.1m 9. Godzilla (2014) - $166.6m 10. Need for Speed - $159.7m
Spidey reigns this list and Need for Speed is still surprisingly hanging in this list. Godzilla will most likely not top Rio 2 at this rate.

Captain America comfortably rules this list and the battle of superheroes with Spidey closely chasing behind. X-Men opened really well this weekend so it should move very quickly to #3 most likely by next weekend. Divergent is barely holding its #10 position right now.

Re: Top 10 OS and WW movies of 2014
As of 2-June
Top 10 OS movies of 2014 1. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - $497.3m 2. Captain America: The Winter Soldier - $454.1m 3. X-Men: Days of Future Past - $338.1m 4. Rio 2 - $333.1m 5. Noah - $244.6m 6. 300: Rise of an Empire - $224.3m 7. The LEGO Movie - $206.4m 8. Godzilla (2014) - $200.0m 9. RoboCop (2014) - $184.1m 10. Need for Speed - $159.7m
Both Spidey and CA2 had a very good lead for X-Men to cross but it moves to #3. Rio 2 is distancing and trying to get to Top 10 of the year. Noah is trying out hard to reach $250m OS. Interesting that NFS is still holding its rank. Peabody at #11 is trying hard to get to that #10 position but I believe Maleficent would soon surpass both these movies.

Rio 2 - $457.5m 6. Godzilla (2014) - $375.6m 7. Noah - $345.5m 8. 300: Rise of an Empire - $330.9m 9. Mr. Peabody & Sherman - $267.4m 10. Divergent - $267.0m
Captain America is trying to hold its #1 position for as long as possible but it should be surpassed in a week or two if Spidey holds well in OS markets for next week or two. X-Men had a big jump this week and might get very close to #2 position in a week or two. Divergent is trying really hard to touch #9 position before it is kicked out of the list.

I think X-Men will take #1 before transformers comes. Still not sure Transformers will do all that good. Franchise has been played. OS is still good for 600 OS though

OS is still good for 600 OS though Transformers most likely won't increase because it got 3D boost in last film and then the addition of new characters will give it a general decrease but then again POTC4 did fine. I mean I don't see that level of increase as that one also had 3D but still with a decrease I could still see Transformers making $650m OS ($100m+ less than the last movie). With that HUGE of an OS total it could pass $1b mark IF the decrease isn't big and it somehow sneaks $700m OS. X-Men should touch #1 position and keep if for a couple of weeks till Transformers catches up to $700m mark.
