 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
The last 5 minutes were intense. ""I wish I had enough poison for you all. You make me sorry that I am not the monster you would have me be, yet there it is. I am innocent, but I will get no justice here. You leave me no choice but to appeal to the gods. I demand trial by battle." For that Peter Dinklage deserves to win his second emmy

I knew this season was gonna be the best one yet but daaaaamn, this was just epic.
Too bad Peter Dinklage is going against Aaron Paul on the supourting category cuz that speech at the end is Eemy worthy.

Another great episode, I loved the last 10 minutes especially Littlefinger pushing Lysa out the moon door, and changing the line doesn't really bother me .

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
"Only Cat" is a way better line, but that's nitpicking and can be forgiven.
Unforgivable, however, is not showing the Dany/Daario sex scene! What the fuck?!?

not sure about that we know Clarke has no problem with nudity, maybe she doesn't want to do sex scenes though.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
I don't get the book purists (many of which probably only began reading the books after the show started!). Since when did "Only Cat" become an iconic line? Its not like they replaced "winter is coming" or "the things I do for love"!

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
Yeah Pedro and Dinklage really nailed that scene. Its a bummer that it's the last episode he will see the end of. I wonder if any Unsullied will be shocked by justice losing once again. I'm also wondering if they will blow through Brienne's entire book 4 plotline by the end of the season. Next episode could be the return of Shagga, to show that not all of Tyrion's "friends" end up as well off as Bronn. Then the finale has the Stoneheart reveal, no Freys and "Arya!" as the mystery word.

I know he is brought back, but he is a zombie with no head, so I don't count that

If you look up the whole no nudity clause Emilia Clarke apparently got, the only real source that the article you'll find lists is one that pretty much explains how it's bullshit.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
The highlight of the episode was the Viper/Tyrion exchange. Perfect. The rest of the episode was just build-up to the all kinds of awesome awaiting us in the next 3 episodes. One thing I think they may hold off until next season is . It could serve as one of the final scenes of Ep 10 but holding it off into early next season would probably work better in making Season 5 more interesting. As for THE final scene of this season - surely it has to be John crowned as Lord Commander ?

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
That last scene for season 3 made me realize how much I hate Bono. I wonder how season 5 will end because it could be as bad as the final season for S3.
Viper's baby story about Tyrion was heartbreaking and cruel.

speaking of which, i dont understand how anyone finds Dany interesting anymore. This part of the story was boring in the books and its boring on the show. You'd be surprised at how many people watch this show only because of Dany. Why? Because she's really hot and she has dragons. The total package. Madgez After killing three fan favorites (Hound, Tywin, Oberyn) in a row, I think the showrunners have to do something big to keep people hyped for next season. So it has to be either Stoneheart or the Children of the Forest. I think the Children will appear in the last episode anyways, but still going with "Arya!" being the last very last shot.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
I think the final shot of the season will be Lady Stoneheart. They should follow the book. I am guessing she will capture Brienne and Pod and that will be the last scene. As for the hound, yeah it worries me. I hope they leave him there dying and we don't find out what happens to him.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
I know Peter D. has been amazing throughout as Tyrion, but holy cow has Pedro Pascal been amazing! That scene was so well done!
This is definitely the best season so far. Having only read up to book three (and only seeing the general consensus about the other 2 books), I don't know how the show is going to maintain such a high standard.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
I think book 7 will be split into 2 to 3 movies. GRRM did say few months back there is a possibility of a movie being made for the end. Sounds reasonable. Book 4 and 5 will be season 5 and 6. Book 6 will be its last season. Oh and if that happens, the 10 year old R rated OW will be broken

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
Omg i jut reread the last chapters of a storm of swords and holy fucking shit.
There is literally no way they can screw the rest of the season. They are gonna be AMAZING.
Especially the ninth episode of course, since i think they can give the Blackwatwr treatment to the stuff that happens on the wall.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
Magnus wrote: the main issue IMO with books 4/5 is the length. Considering it is likely that the show will condense the two (plus is already showing stuff in book 4) and just focus on the meats and potatoes, I think it'll be fine.
The real issue is GRRM. If season 5 ends when book 5 ends, then that means he has to have book 6 done by early next year and then book 7 done by 2016 (unless book 6 is like book 3 and will require 2 seasons, in which he can wait till 2017). The show will advance pass the books by midseason next year. GRRM took too long. WoW - 2016, DoS - 2094 when they figure out how to program Martin's persona into a computer.
