 Re: Production Budgets
The first didn't even make $500 mil OS, this would have to make $750+ mil to make $1 bil WW.

 Re: Production Budgets
Based on my prediction, it would need to make $675m overseas to make $1b worldwide.

 Re: Production Budgets
There's literally no way this goes above $300m domestically. Chippy is right. This needs $750m+ OS to gross $1b WW. And that's not happening. It will be lucky to match the previous one.

 Re: Production Budgets
For a blockbuster this bad TASM2 will be fine if it matches the original's $750m WW take.

$10 million less than Ted? Mighty impressive. Should make an easy profit for Universal even if it disappoints.

 Re: Production Budgets
Considering THREE AMIGOS's budget was $25m almost three decades ago, this is a great budget for a Western spoof...

 Re: Production Budgets
That's AMAZING budget for Neighbors. Even with splitting between distributors and theater chains this will earn money for studios over OW.

 Re: Production Budgets
I'd like to know how they got it so cheap. Zac Efron and Seth Rogen don't demand much of a salary or what?

 Re: Production Budgets
Seth Rogen is one of the producers. He probably thought it was wiser for him not to pay lots of money to himself - he'd just lose out on taxes etc. He's getting a producers fee anyway and the movie will earn lots of money on the BO. And Efron isn't a big draw to demand $$$$$$$$$.

I understand this, but $18m is unbelievably cheap. Too cheap really.

 Re: Production Budgets
TMNT is going to disappoint then.
Wow, that is big for Edge of Tomorrow. I didn't think studios were puttig lots of money into Cruise actioners anymore, so it's odd to see the $175m figure attached to it.
