Great budgets for all. Hollywood really has sorted its high and escalating budgets problem out.
Jack Ryan will need overseas but it will definitely make a profit. The other three will all make profits from just one market (and not necessarily the US).

Re: Production Budgets
There are a lot more graphics in the movie than I expected but still $65m for this kind of movie seem pretty high.

Re: Production Budgets
Considering it has loads of CGI, but not huge stars, I'm not sure what to think about that budget. It seems high because we know it won't gross that much from the US alone, but in all seriousness that is not very high, and it should make a clean profit. Considering Hansel & Gretel made over $100m worldwide, a $65m budget probably wasn't a big deal.

Watching this type of clip:
I can't help but wonder if the film would be improved if they spent considerably less on CGI.

Yes the demon-descend scenes could have done with MUCH less graphics in addition the face design of the daemons are HILARIOUSLY BAD, they look like water animals or something close to that but funny version of that. There were so many chuckles at the wrong places during my screening because of that very reason.

While low, I don't expect Labor Day to be making a profit from the USA, if anywhere.

wow, so Noah is only in 3D outside the US? I guess that's a good idea but I've never heard of a film do that.

Thor: The Dark World was only 3D overseas.

And the visuals seem beautiful, inspired, intricate, etc. in the advertising. On par with or even superior to many other animated films which cost twice or three times as much.

Re: Production Budgets
$60m for Lego is great given that the animation looks good.
$135m for Noah seems like a fine budget but I would still say its a risk.
$70m for Monuments Men is on the higher end.

Re: Production Budgets
Both Endless Love and About Last Night would turn into profit.
After seeing Robocop I can see where they spent the budget but still they could have done with $100m for this movie.
Winter's Tale $60m makes sense.

Re: Production Budgets
I actually think RoboCop looks a bit cheap considering the price tag. Most action scenes in it look like cut-scenes from video games.

I know the budget for Pompeii was expected but it looks too cheap for $80m movie. Thought it is $50m-$60m movie.
