Tax dollars which, today, go to social security, will be going to repaying bills. Resulting in either 1) shittier social security (though this program is merely an example), or 2) even more taxes to get some the same benefits people currently get.

Something like 40% of total government spending is on borrowed money? It's only getting worse, not better. "Deficit reduction" aka lowering the amount of money we are spending which we don't have is a major political. That in and of itself is hilariously sad. To think that some actually oppose balanced budget amendments..."we need to be able to spend more than we make!".

The entire generation of baby boomers have developed a terrible habit of spending money they don't have & isn't theirs (credit).

There are just too many people my age that believe they'll get everything handed to them and not try anything for themselves. They also think everything in school should be fed to them and they shouldn't have to learn anything (or do anything too complex like research/critical thinking). I had a couple classes this year where students were causing class to be interrupted because they didn't want to memorize simple formulas they will use everyday or a large selection of fairly simple terms, they just wanted a study sheet for it all so it can say they got an A on a test and move on. A lot of people also don't learn for themselves and just take what should be taught in class and barely use it which they'll realize isn't enough when going out into the workforce. Like, bitch take some initiative and stop crying fuckin shit.

A lot of millennials just also don't appreciate what is out there. Getting back to my most of them being lazy as fuck, they complain about a lot of my professors being "too smart". When is that a bad thing? I guess they want to be taught in BuzzFeed terms and that mentality is just going to drive the millennial force if not enough people who have the work incentive like I do (I'm active in a few organizations while being president in one, done a few jobs thus far, right around cumulative 4.0, know what I'm doing basically) take a stand to prevent such a change. Then again, I'll just get my degree soon, make my money, and laugh on this later.

If there are 1 million graduates and 1k high pay jobs...the 1k grads who get those jobs tell the other 999k "look, YOU can make money!". The economy may be rough but the amount of emotionally healthy young people is still high. I think the next generation after this one, could get really fucked up psychologically. Millennials will make horrible parents because major self-esteem/insecurity/disconnect issues the internet era brings will make the kids required to support the parent with love not the opposite.

Japan's social anxiety/withdrawal/no sex problem with under 30 people right now, is a sign of the future for everyone else IMO.
