I wonder how this will impact Fast & Furious 7. Has it largely completed filming? It obviously cannot and will not go the way of Dark Blood, which was abandoned after River Phoenix's death. And the unique solution conceived to complete Heath Ledger's role in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is the type of left-field move which could only fly in the world of Terry Gilliam.

Few saw it, but this was his most recent film:

He has an action movie titled Brick Mansions in post-production.

I wonder who was with him in the car.

FF7 billion dollar club

Pawn Shop was a bore. His role was minor.

I've seen that film. It is actually from the director of Running Scared.

Brick Mansions is the remake of the great French actioner District B13.

The local news just said, "He was filming the latest Fast and Furious movie and reportedly lost control of his Porsche." They made it sound as if he died during filming. Idiots. ;) Every other source is reporting he was not even driving.

They're definitely not finished filming. It just started about two months ago.

This is absolutely tragic and horrifying considering how it happened.

I liked Paul Walker. As I said in the other thread, it's quite fitting that he died in a car accident since he's only famous because of car films.

His best film, funnily enough, is not a car film at all, it's Into the Blue. Well, actually, Running Scared is also great, so either one of those.

All I wonder now is who they're going to blame his death on. It must be someone's fault. It's never the driver's fault. Perhaps the road layout people in the US, or the German technician at Porsche...

As far as surprise deaths go, this is very surprising. I'd say that biggest deaths over the last 10 years were Heath Ledger, Paul Walker and Michael Jackson.

I liked Paul. He filled his roles very well. I hope, and am sure they will, give him a poignant write-out in F&F7. Upsetting news, for sure. RIP.

He wasn't driving the car.

But it was his car, and he was in the car. He's responsible. Was he gagged and couldn't tell his friend to slow down? or was he also enjoying the thrill ride in a 15mph area? Probably was, which means he was allowing his friend to drive at that speed (which must have been upwards of 80mph), therefore he's a very silly man. Throwing his life away from a quick thrill which he's probably had so many times before anyway.

I just realised that no star has ever died when it wasn't their own fault. Like, you never seem to here about an accident happening and a celebrity was involved. It's always a drug overdose or a car crash (from speeding) or a gang war.
