That article sounds fishy though. TMZ just reported this. That article says that news broke earlier this week.

I remember when Corey Monteith died there were articles saying it was a hoax and he was alive and well too. We shall see.

(if it is true, I know it's terrible, but oh the irony)

Only TMZ are reporting this as far as I can see. I am going to believe it is a hoax until proven otherwise.

There at least was a crash like described in the TMZ story, but this article says they don't know who was in the crash.

Hmm, every single article just refers to TMZ. I started doubting TMZ when they reported Lil' Wayne getting his last rites...

This may very well be true, but how is it "confirms" if they are still refering to the very same TMZ article as the rest?

Some industry insiders are saying the reports are true on twitter... that probably gives Variety, US Weekly, etc. to go ahead and post the TMZ news.

I doubt Variety will go ahead with the story if they weren't certain. Their level of "journalism" has gone down in recent years, but don't think they're that desperate yet.

Everyone will cite the Fast/Furious franchise as his major achievement, and I s'pose it is, but my favorites are Joy Ride and Running Scared. Both very solid genre films.

It is so weird that not even 24 hours ago there was a death hoax, too...

Wait, what? I just did a double take when I read this and was so confused. Very sad news. Not the world's greatest actor but he seemed like a nice guy and he's (was? :| ) hot.

He was great in Running Scared :)
Fast & Furious franchise won't be the same without him
