I have rarely even paid attention to him until he randomly started saying stupid shit to me. I never had an issue with him (or Mau for that matter) until recently.

Fact of the matter is, I think some people just need to start taking their medications daily. I'm not a crazy active poster here by any means, though I do read topics pretty much every day and I enjoy reading what everyone (well, most everyone) has to say. The only "drama" I have ever been associated with has been with Algren, and even now I don't give a fuck about it. I don't like holding grudges and the only reason he is still blocked is because I don't feel like going through the shit and changing it. I actually end up reading most of his posts anyway, so it doesn't matter. But Chippy randomly gets all cray around me and Mau goes fucking psychotic too... literally for no reason. I've done nothing to either one of them. Not that I give a fuck about either one of them or their opinions before any of this started, it is just incredibly stupid and if fighting with someone who has really never had a conversation tried to have a conversation with them before (Chippy I have talked to a few times on the boards but I can't recall ever talking to Mau), then I honestly feel sad that their lives are that pathetic. I don't know, maybe Mau is just pissed that it has been brought to light that Britney is a shitty vocalist and he wants to take it out on unsuspecting people and Chippy is just... Chippy. Who knows?

right, but literally any number of points can be a circle. just the David Algren connection is a circle if you want it to be. the third link can be anywhere you want it to be, including on the circle, if yr just throwing out a circle connecting dots...but if you actually literally connect the dots yr gonna get a triangle.

But if the third link is in the circle, then it is connected with the other two - which, according to the statement above, it isn't - leaving it outside of the circle.

Of course you can come up with different geometrical figures for connecting the dots and in that case it would never be a circle. Unless you call it so. But if you are calling something a circle, then it all has to come back to the first link and not just leave it out of the equation. In that case:

A => B => C => A is a circle whereas A => B <=> C isn't.

I know what you're saying, but in practice it doesn't work. a and b are connected and can be made into a circle just by drawing any arbitrary circle connecting them. c is connected to b, but since were just making up arbitrary circles, c can be literally anywhere connected to b, including on the circle. it's less a circle than a network at that point, but it's just as valid as calling abca a circle when it would be a triangle.

point being, he isn't wrong in calling it a circle, he's just defining circle differently than you. yr speaking literally about the shape...he's only wrong when looking thru yr narrowed perspectives.
