Re: How to easily trick Taylor Swift fans
There is nothing wrong with the quotes, to be honest, other than perhaps the slightly unusual liars/magicians one. The rest are very standard-issue inspirational fare (the beat of your own drum! and such); this might be the way Hitler phrased them, but a thousand other, by and large very admirable people have no doubt said exactly the same.
So the oh so clever people who started this believing they were proving a point or being subversive are in fact idiots.
Believe me, you could attribute the "live irregularly" one to almost any public figure (Thom Yorke, for instance, or Picasso or Ryan Gosling or Anne Frank or the snowboarding ginger), and it would be popular on Facebook and Pinterest.

Re: How to easily trick Taylor Swift fans
David speaks sense again.
But the magicians one is the best quote in the first post. The rest are standard shit.

Hitler said a lot of great things.
But he was also a psycho.

To be fair, David, the first quote is kinda fascist.

Re: How to easily trick Taylor Swift fans
It has the sense that tries to tell us to go out and make something of yourself for the betterment of society. It is not the circumstances of an unjust society that mold you into a better man (communism). Nor is it the betterment of yourself for its own sake (liberalism). You know, existential philosophy and what not that can be seen in Nietzsche's teachings. Nietzsche was a direct influence into major components to German Fascism, an ideology that idolizes military accomplishments for the advancement of the whole rather than the advancement of the individual (communism and liberalism both concern themselves with the individual's betterment more so than the greater good). It has this unspoken implication that if you don't accomplish something of great monumental worthy for the whole, then you are a lesser person because of it. It is a mentality a lot of people have, but few put to thought of its implications. And I think the amount of appraisals it receives in a liberal society is interesting.

Unspoken implication implies an inference on my part, making it a subjective claim by nature. However, I will argue when I here hero I hear a sense of superiority.
