The incident occurred on the morning of July 29, when a man, surnamed Li, was about to board China Southern Airlines flight 345 to Beijing, Guangzhou Daily reported. As Li passed through airport security, X-ray screening machines detected a few “odd protrusions” sticking out of a KFC burger that the man had packed in his bag.

Airport staff determined that the protrusions looked suspiciously like turtle limbs, and asked to inspect Li’s luggage.

You know a turtle limb when you see one.

Funny thing, yes. I know many KFC restaurants in the US (which is where I first went to a KFC) don't have burgers (though some do), but for example all KFC restaurants over here have burgers. Of course only of the chicken variety (which I guess makes them "sandwiches" in US fast-food-lingo).

Yeah, there's no such fucking thing as a chicken burger. ;)

Funny attempt.

What's so weird about KFC having burgers? All the KFCs in China have chicken burgers. Same goes for the UK.

I think in the USA burger is defined by being beef...

Lazy Yanks.

Despite 'ham' being pork, the term 'hamburger' refers to a burger as being made with beef, sure, but the term 'burger' can be any type of food sandwiched between two baps.

It is not certain that "hamburger" has anything to do with "ham". Rather with Hamburg...

Precisely what I was saying. It has nothing to do with 'ham', it originated from/named after Hamburg, just the same as Frankfurter originated from/was named after Frankfurt.
