BEST EDITING
Personally I think editing is the most important aspect for a film. As the maker of your DVDs' deleted scenes bonus feature, an editor must make sure the film flows well and is at the required pace for the plot and atmosphere of the production. That is incredibly hard to achieve, plus it's done in post-production, which means that as an editor you have to work with what you have, and ninety-nine percent of the time some lovely scenes will be deleted in order to maintain the films' presence. Editing can elevate an otherwise mediocre string of scenes into a thing of beauty, and that is what we're rewarding here today.
