 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
Howard can always go to Brooklyn after the season. This Lakers team might be one and done.

If Dwight wants out there could be a Lopez-Dwight trade. Not even entirely sure that'd be a good move for BKN though

And despite the disappointing season, I think he likes L.A.. But who knows.

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
Interesting rumor, apparently the Nets are trying to do a deal where Love goes to Lakers, Lopez goes to Wolves and Howard goes to Nets
Not sure about the Wolves angle in that deal (Lopez/Pekovic doesn't fit), but the Lakers trading Howard for Love would really be a perfect trade for them. Love wanting to go to the Lakers is inevitable anyways, and Pau would likely be revitalized playing C beside Love stretching the floor

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
Bosh for Howard makes a scary amount of sense. Bosh/Pau fits a lot more than Pau/Howard, especially for D'Antoni. Miami teams up Lebron, Wade and Howard, enough said.

Rudy Gay to Toronto, Calderon to Detroit, Prince and Davis to Memphis
Like it for all teams. Nice to get a talent like Rudy

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
Going to be an interesting deadline. It would be a dream if TOR could move Derozan, Bargnani and Fields for Pau. Not only would it make the team possibly top 5/6 in the East next year with a Lowry, Ross, Gay, Amir Johnson, Pau starting 5 (and I bet Pau would be much more likely to resign than a American star would), but it would dump all our bad long term deals. Bryan Colangelo putting the team in that situation, would make me forgive him from an otherwise horrendous tenure

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
Rudy looks so damn good. Really one of those "he made getting to 20 points look easy" guys which is a great sign. Changes so much for the direction of the team. He could honestly score 24-25ppg next year
Can't believe that Valanciunas #5 pick though. Fuck that pick. While it's early he's been the prototype shitty European center draft pick from the start and is getting pretty close to DNP-CD status and is a guy who gets his ass kicked pretty much every night. Some day teams will learn taking "project" Cs because they're tall and hoping they learn how to play is a dumb fucking idea, players who don't have it from a IQ/skill perspective from 18-20, almost always stay that way. And if you're going to take a raw 7 footer and hope to get lucky he knows how to play, it might as well be a Drummond type of physical freak, instead of skinny unathletic guy like Valanciunas. Unathletic, skinny, dumb European center project is like the most depressing 6 sentence phrase in the world. NBA teams are just horrible at drafting internationals though, all the ones they take in the top 10 suck and then they let the good ones fall too far like Batum, Ibaka, Parker and Manu, Dragic, Gortat, etc. Right now the Cavs GM has to be waving the middle finger at everyone who trashed him for taking Tristan Thompson 4th, he's putting up like 15/11 the last few months and is probably 2nd best 2011 lottery pick.

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
The James Harden trade could possibly be one of the biggest in NBA history. One team changed their franchise by getting a probable MVP contention talent/the type of TIER 1 player teams need to really have a shot for a title. And OKC chose between RWB and Harden and probably chose wrong. OKC now needs to win at least one title with Durant to justify this, or else it's an all time devastating trade. Durant and this version of Harden without RWB around, would've been an all time great SG/SF combination. Harden to me looks like he's emerging as the Andy Murray to Lebron, Durant and Paul's Federer/Nadal/Djokovic. Big 3 turning into Big 4 quick

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
Agreed, and I think Westbrook would be be better off being the alpha dog on another. Yet they had already committed to Westbrook and Harden was much easier to trade.
The real problem is that they could of kept both. A ten year dynasty will produce a lot more money than the luxury tax will take away.

Do you guys not realize that you're talking about KEVIN DURANT? OKC does not need Harden. At all.

7-0 since losing Rondo. I know it won't last, especially in the playoffs, but this is fun for however long it lasts.

I'm just throwing my hands in the air at Lebron and the Heat. Ugh.
Also, how many times does OKC have to fall into a freaking hole when we play them. It's ridiculous.

Miami just matches up well with them, I guess. Which is annoying.

The 4th quarter was good. And Kobe guarding Lebron was so fucking awesome.
