One of the most ridiculous twists in years!
So I recently watched one upcoming movie at a press screening, which, at the end, features the most ridiculous left-field twist ending I have seen since, I dunno, Hide and Seek maybe or The Village. I'm not gonna spoil what movie it was (unless someone wants to know, but I think once you see it, you'll know.
Feel free to use this thread to discuss other ridiculous silly twists in movies too.

Re: One of the most ridiculous twists in years!
Just a word of warning, if I tell you the film title, you might actually figure out the twist. It's the kind of a film that you don't really look for a twist, unless you know there is one.

Re: One of the most ridiculous twists in years!
Could be Dark Skies, Beautiful Creatures, or Side Effects. I can't imagine any of us really caring what film it is, especially if its one of those.
Just confirm it's not Die Hard and the terrorists win

Okay, yes, it is not Die Hard.
In fact, Die Hard probably won't screen here for press up until a day or two before the release.

Re: One of the most ridiculous twists in years!
I don't know why you won't just say the name and the ending here. I don't think anyone here wants to see it. Someone from the boards told me what it was and I almost wet my pants from laughing. Makes me a little more curious to see the movie though because of how ridiculous it is.

Re: One of the most ridiculous twists in years!
Seriously, this thread is such a tease
This better be some twist from something I couldn't possibly imagine, like St. Elsewhere finale twist.

Well because some people actually might not really want to know, but might be too tempten to click on SPOILER if I post it here. This way, they can reflect on their decision before asking me to PM them the answer

I messaged it to most of the people in here so Lecter wouldn't have to.
