Of the year's remaining specialty releases, which will--
gross the most (domestic)?
I chose not to include Lincoln. Its seven-day limited bow almost reminds of a Disney movie's. It is obviously intended as a major nationwide release.

I don't even understand why The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a limited release. It doesn't seem to be the type of film to get amazing reviews and expand slowly. It should be in multiplexes frequented by teens, not art-houses.

Don't see why this will make much more than other similar films, like The Duchess. I'm thinking 18-22 Million. Of course that could easily be enough to best the rest of this crop.

Either the Master or Anna K.
Both look to make something in the $35-$55m range.

My answer to this is either The Sessions or Hyde Park on Hudson, depending on which gains more Oscar traction. Edit: Or The Master. I dunno.

Box Office Mojo lists it as limited.

I propose a bet. $500.

It wouldn't make sense for it to be limited. I think it will end up with a count of 800-1,200.

I mean seriously if Cosmopolis was given a more well known studio (even say Focus), it would do quite well. Oh well.
