Also, what was so creative here? Wasn't the 'carry the nuclear weapon out of the target area' straight from the Avengers? Or did I forget the Avengers already?

Maybe I'm a Michael Bay barbarian, but I wanted the ferocity and intensity of the first fight on steroids at the end. It starts to get there, but then it peters out. It definitely is a disappointment, but it's not a huge disappointment, IMO. Mostly because Bane has already been beaten when Catwoman takes him out. We see Batman kick the shit out of him and then Talia comes and we learn who Bane really is, and we see him cry. He is broken. Then he gets back up and gets taken out really fast. Disappointing, but not very much so.

There wasn't a single original concept in all of Heroes, so no, they didn't copy Heroes.

 Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Quite possibly the best film of the trilogy. What makes it better for me is that it's bigger in scope (the action, villains, the whole threat to Gotham and everything). The cast/characters were perfect altogether, Catwoman was smokin' but Bane so as the rest were great as well. It was also engaging on an emotional level, an aspect in which TDK lacked quite a bit, IMO. I think I'll appreciate it even more upon second viewing having seen the first two again a while ago, and aside from the fact that I wasn't able to enjoy the film to its full potential bec. of the crappy audio in the theater. A- or 8.5/10 for now

Disappointing, but not very much so. I really like that Nolan has the guts to not make everything always a slug fest, to have brief, sudden, unclimactic conclusions and such. I think it worked, I thought it was badass when cat woman blew him away. Funny too. I can see the disappointment, but didn't feel it personally it was perhaps an underwhelming and unfair end to such an awesome villain, but I like that it was a little risky and unconventional. The end to Talia/Miranda is the real problem.

 Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Saw it again, in IMAX. It's definitely an A for me, and definitely the best of the three movies. I had shivers in several occasions.
As for IMAX....... this shit isn't worth the entry price. It's a gimmick just like 3D. It doesn't add anything. I'm never going to pay 16$ again for an IMAX movie.

Did you see it in real IMAX or fake IMAX? I give you that fake IMAX, while still better than a regular theater, isn't all that great. But a real IMAX is easily worth the ticket price. The canvas of the shots is incredible. No idea. I didn't know there was a real and a fake IMAX. How do I tell if it is was real or fake?

 Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Actually, I'm from Quebec in Canada. And no the theater I went to wasn't in that list. It was about the same size as a regular screen, perhaps a little bigger, but definitely not super-big. I guess it was a Lie-max. Fuck that shit.
I remember seeing some documentaries many years ago in a real IMAX theater, the screen is enormous.

I saw it in one of those gigantic "real" IMAX screens, and it is no way to watch a movie
