I think it's a matter of when and not if. The difference between doing it right and doing it wrong is worth billions. It could be 3 Avengers films (1.5 billion domestic/5 billion WW) or it could be a jacked up Superman Returns in financial return (250 million domestic/500 billion WW). But they're going to try. Putting together multiple superhero characters on screen is clearly a big draw. Especially the two big ones (Batman/Superman)

- Do they try and connect it to the Bale/Nolan Batman trilogy?

- If Zack Snyder's darker Man of Steel is successful, do they reboot Green Lantern in a darker style, and bring out dark versions of Flash and Wonder Woman? I think the edgy/dark thing is the way to go here. That's what differentiates it from Avengers and other superhero films.

- Do they put off everything for 5 years, hire Nolan for Man of Steel 2 and make him the consultant on the other DX films? Or if Man of Steel is successful and much better than eg. Watchmen, is Zack Snyder now the man for the JL?

My guess: Man of Steel is good and we get two of them before JL, they pull an Incredible Hulk by rebooting Green Lantern pretty quickly, and we get a Flash movie and they mimick Avengers by giving hints towards the JL.

Wonder Woman will get a movie, and needs one (a good one), similar to Thor.

Will need the Batman Reboot version of Batman with no connection to Nolan's world. Get in clues of a JL team in that, Superman, Flash, and Wonder Woman.

Green Lantern would flop big as a reboot I think - just go ahead and toss in Reynolds or whoever like they did for Hulk.

With a Batman vs. Superman battle in the film like the fighting among Avengers, could work.

Why are we talking about Superman sequel? I'm afraid Zack Snyder will fuck it up. He's skilled in that. I doubt he delivers a better movie than Singer. And that one ended up being a BO disappointment because the audience didn't care.

A JL movie is well worth their investment no matter if the lead up films are weak or not. I don't see them taking a "Well we punted these movies, let's wait till the 2020s to try again so we can maximize our potential profits" type of perspective. Too long a wait. As long as the movie has Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Flash and Wonder Woman all in one movie people will go to it in droves. They mainly just have to have an Iron Man hit with at least one of the Man of Steels, the new Batman, the new Green Lantern and Flash and the rest probably fall in line. eg. If Flash is a massive hit a la Iron Man, you plug that guy in "with Superman and Batman" = $$$

Random point - Instead of making a new Batman film in '15/'16, maybe Man of Steel 2 has the new Batman in it as his hesitant partner or is even the Superman vs Batman. That way you don't have to rush the Batman reboot 4 years after TDKR. This would also help it a lot if Man of Steel 1 is mediocre and they have to hire a new director, and need a way to sell it. Man of Steel 2 being the first glimpse of Superman/Batman together would jack up its gross pretty well. Maybe instead of proceeding straight to JLA then, you make a Man of Steel 3 with Batman again and a Wonder Woman and then build up slowly to the JLA

I would like to see a Giffen and DeMatteis style Justice League America/International movie. Their Despero storyline from JLA #38-#42 could work for a movie. It shows them (Giffen and DeMatteis) at their most serious, but, at the same time has some of the funniest moments from their run. Also, the news story intro from issue #38 could be used to create an abbreviated (and very funny) intro to the characters. The movie could show the journalist relaying the main points of his story (and the characters' backgrounds) to the editor of the publication while the scene is juxtaposed with various humorous, candid shots of the main characters. So, they wouldn't need to waste much screen time introducing the characters and could get right into the main plot pretty quickly.

Evans is great as CA though and he was the best thing in FF4.

I liked the newest version of Aquaman, where people mock him and get there ass kicked because of it. Loads of comedic potential for an unpopular character.
